You won't have an easy time getting here and even tougher getting in. Canada will do what we say as soon the first vaguely middle eastern man crosses our border.

Brazil or Portugal might be good bets. Poor, but beautiful climates and welcoming. South Africa might be a good option. No one is doing it and it's growing and developing exponentially. The Philippines might not be bad either, though there's a growing presence of radical Islam there.

Basically, the further you can afford to get, the better off you'll be, but avoid western nations in the northern hemisphere, we're not very welcoming anymore.

I live in a small town with 2000 people and we had 800 refugees in just the last year. 800 people who need homes, jobs, school, hospitals, help from the police, tons of administration. It's a lot of work, and our systems are collapsing under the pressure.
I wish eastern Europe was less racist and helped us out so we wouldn't have to deal with this.
Right now I think your best bet might be a country like Brazil. They don't offer a lot of help to refugees once you get in, but I think most are accepted.

My parents were Iranian immigrants who escaped a war , so I might be able to give a tiny bit of knowledge. I heard Australia was accepting a certain amount of Syrian refugees. There is a good welfare system here and it's pretty safe. Locals used to be quite racist but not so much now.

Apparently Germany has an excellent welfare system as well as Switzerland so everyone's trying to go there. USA is probably the best choice, but it's near impossible to get in there. They took years just to accept a few families.

Balkan anon here. Bosnia is not in the EU but is a part-muslim country and more likely to accept you. Croatia is EU but very homogenous, white and catholic and full of prejudices, but accepting refugees, especially ones with degrees in medicine and engineering. The economy is shit, impossible to get a job without speaking croatian/bosnian but the living costs are low.

A refugee is fleeing a war in fear of their life. A refugee is not running away to make money or to make a better life, this is an immigrant.

Here in Australia we accept genuine refugees. We do not accept immigrants who call themselves refugees.

Really do not try Scandinavia. They're all approx 10 times over capacity by now. For example Finland received around 3600 asulym seekers in 2014, and prepared for a similar amount of people in 2015. However, there were 32 500 asulym seekers in 2015. That's nearly 10 x the capacity and the expectation. The "immigration crisis" and the record numbers of asulym seekers flooding into the country have been in the headlines all autumn, as well as how the government is desperately trying to figure out where to magic up all the extra money to feed these people.

The government has no money nor space for the people, and some are being emergency-housed in tents. It's january, it's now -17 degrees celcius outside.

Also a lot of the asulym seekers themselves have made their situation a lot worse themselves through attacking and raping local women. They also loudly complained about the conditions in the media, which a lot of people didn't like since the food they called "inedible" (porridge) is kind of traditional and pretty much similar to what the old people and schoolkids are being fed, and these young men demanding money instead of food and complaining that things aren't as nice as they'd like, combined with how around every single housing centre for the immigrants street crime, rapes etc shot up dramatically, well, it really didn't leave a favourable impression.

The public opinion has really, really quickly turned and there are a lot of people growing increasingly upset at the asylum seekers.
The amount of approved asylum applications was 40% back when we had only 3000 applicants. Now when it's 10x, and attitudes are tightening - well, it's possible they'll finally only allow 3000 or so people to stay, meaning less than 10% of the people who are already here. It's not a good bet to travel all that way just to join the 90% of rejects.

I'd say, look somewhere else than Europe. It's going to get ugly in Europe in the next years.

What's worst is that it's the immigrants themselves who fucked the situation very literally up for their countrymen or brothers in religion through acting like animals. The desire to help is quickly evaporating everywhere, because no-one wants to get raped, robbed and knifed in thanks for helping and giving shelter and food through their tax money. I don't want to start being afraid in the streets of my own hometown because we wanted to be kind and help people. That price is too high.

If they don't want to accept the rules of European societies, such as respecting women, they shouldn't be here.
