It helped me to admit some things to myself that I had been downplaying for a long time. Therapy is not a miracle solution, but actually explaining yourself and your situation to someone out loud can be helpful for organizing your thoughts and drawing your attention to actually important things you might have been ignoring before. I only went 6-7 times but it helped me to get motivated to climb out of the slump I was in.

last year during a time where I was suicidal, it helped me identify patterns in my friendships (and their endings) and helped me form new coping mechanisms.

It's not a bad idea, might be suspicious that you'd tell them, though. I'd try to scam em somehow, and do this if you can't improve the idea. I don't think this would make them give you a worse model at least.

I'm a little tipsy right now so won't do anything until i sober up a bit. See I worried about that too, it would look suspicious, but on the other hand it might look like i'm being nice by giving them a heads-up. I've studied up on how to tell if the product i received is fucked or not but I want to avoid being in that situation where I have to deal with the faulty product. Seller is known to say they'll fix it but when you send it to them they don't usually refund or send a fixed version back. People like this piss me off so much, it's not so much what they're doing, more that they try to pass it off as legit. They've been doing this for 4 years (to my research) and eBay continues to support them.

They want to introduce you to the school, the faculty, the resources, other students. They want to confirm that you exist, get some sense of your personality, needs, etc. They want to make sure you get all the literature, handouts, assignments, resources, etc you'll need by actually handing them to you.
