In the sauna you shouldnt sray longer than 15 minutes at once. Also if your lungs are birning or you feel light headed maybe go out. Otherwise it's safe if the temperature is measured. A cold shower after the sauna is so good.

As for cold showers you won't go into a shock or anything if it's not freezing water. Start by wetting your toes and then go straight for the head. A quick cold shower is really refreshing for some people.
