So I have my first GF since I was 19YO. I'm 26YO now. The issue is that whenever I met a new interesting woman, I want her to love me too and I fail miserably, they are usually women with totally diferent ways of thinking that my GF and into hobbies that my GF doesn't like. Maybe I don't love my GF if I feel that way? Is it wrong to want to feel another woman's love or should I stick with my 7 years gf forever and ever?

So the other day I took 7 500mg tylenol pills, I was depressed, still am, whatever. About 28 or so hours later I had diarrhea and had been feeing abnormally tired ever since. I've also been having some pretty minor pain in my lower back area. Obviously since I took the pills with the intention of killing myself I know that liver failure is almost guaranteed if you take over a certain dosage, but I'm just curious. Has anyone ever done something like this (or know someone who has/have some kind of knowledge on otc painkillers) and if so, did you go to the hospital or should I just ride this out?

Taking pills to kill yourself is never a good idea. Death by organ failure is never a good idea, especially liver failure, you only need like a fourth of it for it to just regenerate. I'd recommend going to the hospital.

I need out. I'm desperate. I don't give a fuck anymore. I need to join the military. I don't see many options for myself if I don't, I just don't. I've thought about joining in the past, hell, I've gone and talked to a recruiter before but I always bitched out. Honestly, it's a good thing I did, I wouldn't have been ready for it. I wasn't mature enough.
I need a miltaryfag tell me what the realistic odds are for someone with a GED, depression and ADHD but with a hunger like no other to advance and get out of my shitty excuse for a life.
Long story short, my mother convinced me that she was going to homeshool me, bitch lied, took me out of school and refused to re enroll me. It wasn't up to me. If not for my grandmother paying for the test I wouldn't even have gotten my GED when I did.
I've put my 1911 to my head and couldn't pull the trigger. I am legit too stubborn for my own fucking good. I refuse to give up. It's not in me.
I've already 15 college credit hours on file and completed along with a basic Nursing assistant cert. My question is would they even give me a second look with the mental shit I have. I'm not violent, I'm just fucking desperate as all fuck.
I just want to get the fuck out of where I am with a burning seething passion and will sell my soul to do so.

Here's the deal: of course there's a girl and me, we like each other (not actually my girlfriend, yet), we have told each other so. I want to move to China. However, there are a few concerns and/or fears I feel I need to vent/seek advice for.
Growing up on the West Coast of America, I have seen lots of different racial groups come and set up shop in my hometown and surrounding suburbia. Its awesome, and I love it, multiculturalism is pretty neat. However, there's a double standard surrounding language that I've noticed.
Fighting the urge to make up statistics, I've seen my fair share of instances where a 45 year old woman will use her 12 year old son to translate for her. There's plenty of cases where simply the moms vocab was not strong enough to hold a full conversation and the kid needed to support, and then there's the cases where it's obvious they have made no real attempt to learn our local language. As a local boy, I've had it hammered into me that "This is America the melting pot. You can't shame immigrants for not knowing English (but unspoken rule you are not socially allowed to call someone out for not learning)".
As an isolated case I couldn't give a shit, if you don't want to learn a new language so be it, but the vibe I get is that Americans should learn the local language if ever they plan to move to a new country.
America is rife with stories of immigrants coming to its shores with no cash, no degree (or valid degree), not speaking the language, and entirely re-inventing and establishing themselves. Its incredible and inspiring, and I've always had a secret resentment for being born in America, because WE were the place people came to. But thats China now, and I want to experience life from that angle.
How much will Chinese people hate me if I move over there and try and take their shitty service jobs? I know Chinese people are super nationalist, and I'm a little afraid of that idea because as a German male in America, whenever you talk about nationalism people get super tense and shits just weird, so I avoid it.

Chinese people are actually much less nationalist than americans, japanese, or even say brits.
I'm fully caucasian and have never been ostracized for being white in China. If anything, it got more a little more positive attention because of that "oh, you come from America! Jack Nicholson? Sunset Boulevard? Hoho!" factor.
I've heard of stories of rivalries between Japanese and Chinese, in the sense that sometimes japanese people would refuse to talk to korean or chinese workers, things like that. As far as white people go, we got it great in China.
What I noticed is most common people don't know a lick of english. Waiters in big cities know the basics, but knowing elementary chinese is a real necessity. You just gotta know terms like "how much", "bathroom", and in common life you catch on quick enough. Professionally it can get real complicated, so on a practical level you may have a real hard time like I did.

No, that's not really the case, expatriates in China are either there because they were sent by their corporation or taking advantage of various opportunities the Chinese market has to offer. Expatriates seeking new horizons in megalopolis' like Shanghai or Hong Kong are quite common and even with China's stunted growth it's still very much an economic boom in several milieus.

Never used /adv/ so forgive me if I'm unaware of the boards nuances.
I have a problem, like, a serious one that will eventually effect my life once I have a family or wife I sleep in bed with. Keep in mind I'm a 20 year old, 6'5 210lb man.
Every night or every other night, I moan like a girl getting fucked while I'm asleep. I know this because I started recording myself while I sleep. For the month I've done it, I can here myself going "oh fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck" or moaning in a high pitched girly voice about an hour to two hours after I fall asleep. Sometimes I talk normally, but the recurring thing is this cringy shit.
Do my parents know about this? They have to because it's sounds like I'm really loud. What is wrong with me? Should I see a therapist?

Personally, I think you should try to identify the dream that's causing this.
If you're willing to deal with the embarrassment and can find someone willing, you could try having somebody stay nearby and waking you up when it happens, and getting you to tell them what the dream is. They then relay it to you later.
If you're unable or unwilling to do this, my best suggestion is to try keeping a dream journal. Write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. This tells your brain to remember them. After a while you can remember more and more of your dreams since your brain doesn't dismiss them. That way you can hopefully remember what the dream is.
Once you figure that out, you can hopefully figure out why it's making you talk like that, and figure out a way to get it out of your head.

I'm trying to figure out what the fuck to do with my life.
I've decided that I'm gonna go for what I want over what is easy, I'm gonna try my best to become a police officer. However, to be the better applicant I am going to get an associate's degree but here is my problem. I've talked directly with recruiters and they don't care what the post secondary education is in, some say they even prefer anything else over "Police Foundations". So now I'm stuck trying to figure something that will interest me and something I can fall back on in case policing doesn't pan out.
I've been thinking about doing a 2 year in nursing, enabling me to be a practical nurse and then I can go back and bridge into a bachelor and become a registered nurse if policing didn't work out. Also thinking about computer systems, with the ability to go back and get into NetSec.
I appreciate any and all advice and criticisms. Any nursing students mind telling me if its feasible to work 15-30 hours a week while in school? Or is the coursework too heavy?
P.S This is the state of the job market in Ontario, Canada.

I've had a "best friend" for the last 7 years of my life. There were a few year where we spent nearly ever moment of every day together, however we've drifted apart over the last few years.
Generally she'll come back every couple of months when her life isn't going to well and she needs some emotional security... I ease her back into life, give her confidence, and then she's gone again. This cycle has repeated for the last couple of years.
Should I keep her around? Or just tell her to not contact me anymore? We've had conversations about this in the past but it somehow ends up being my fault in the end.
I don't know how to feel about this.

Life happens. I wouldn't friend-dump her or anything, just don't make her a priority. If you can make time to talk to her, do it. If you can't don't. I have a friend like this and though we were really close and had some emotionally intimate conversations at one time, we really only talk now when it's convenient for her, and like your friend, she talks to me long enough to feel better about things and disappears. I'm in a place of no-chasing people so I throw out a line every 6 months or so to see how she is and otherwise just live my life. I see no point in burning bridges.

I contacted the home owner/future roommate about wanting to rent her available room and that I would be able to move by the end of the month
She didnt reply until about 4 hours after with 'OK'
I dont know how to respond to that
