Maybe try doing something other than browsing the internet? Best thing you can do is stand up and walk away. Do something a bit more constructive or at least visit the site in increments. Know when to step away.

You can ask the clinic where the surgery is being held for a recommendation. Some offer transport.
You can ask a co-worker or see if the company offers transport for it's staff.
You can hire transport from a reputable shuttle company to take you.
You can ask your neighbor.
You can ask your mom.

Do you have the entire plot structure broken down from start to finish?
Have you compiled who your characters are and the type of people they are?
Does you book have an overlaying message or stereotypical arc?

Yes those are the basic features I was already on about. I do have a basic idea, but have no idea how to create a story around it.
I haven't written anything yet (going to make a plan first), but I'm afraid my story will be too short or uninteresting.

Make sure to write at least a little bit every day. Sometimes a clearly laid-out pathway isn't always available, and the only thing I've found so far to remedy that is to simply try to work with where I'm at in the story and see if it can go anywhere helpful to its progression, and, at least usually I see something that can be put to use that will help to get things going in a meaningful way.

Honest reply: find interest that not only suits you, but your friends as well. You might not like it, but doing something together is always better.

I have a fair amount of friends, it's not like that. And I hang out with them and do stuff like hang out or play poker. But at home I'm doing nothing but the aforementioned. It's an interesting idea for sure, I'll think about stuff I could do with them.

First thing you need to understand is that the different people in your life see you differently. Sure there is a basic "persona" that everybody sees you as, but for example your mother will see you differently compared to what a co-worker would.

Try not focus so hard on how to pretend around people and simply act like yourself. Some people will like you and some people wont. If anything you can learn to pick-up social cues to understand how they feel around you.

People who you perceive that are trying to put up a "persona" are equally insecure and unsure about themselves. Figure out who you want to be first.

I would suggest you take a personality test online (or a few) just to get an idea what your core personality is like and go from there.

Best way was to get away from the people that support it. Another thing that helps is getting rid of any paraphernalia. Try replacing the habit with something else, like exercise.
