i need some advice/help

I was rear ended today and catapulted through 4 incoming traffic lanes (luckily there were no cars). But here's the kicker: I had just pulled out of a plaza parking lot shortly before being hit. Now the cops are blaming me for "not yielding for traffic" when there was ample room and the other driver was clearly not even looking at the road. There was even a witness parked at an elevated spot across the street who saw the whole thing and sided with me!
How much of a chance do I have to contest this? The person who hit me (an old hispanic bitch in a luxury car, no less) and the person who was behind her that hit her car said they were unharmed, but who the fuck knows they could suddenly develop "neck pains" tomorrow and take me to court when the bitch almost fucking killed me. Not to mention the ticket that I got for her irresponsibility (the cop literally said that she could've been asleep at the wheel and it'd still be my fault).
I've never been in an accident as the driver before, completely inexperienced with any of this. I'm shaking with rage as I type this. If you have any helpful knowledge or advice please share. I'm in the United States, Georgia to be specific if that helps.

And he may be right, but I wouldn't take a cops word for the law. Talk to an attorney and see if you even have a case. Be as forthcoming as possible with as much information so they can asses whether you stand a chance...
Or what you could really do, and it would cost the least amount of money, is just take it on the chin and be thankful you have insurance but also be pissed your premium is about to increase. Laws like this can be pretty black and white so the cop is actually probably right. An attorney could navigate the law to bring you on top but is it going to be worth a couple hundred dollars an hour on top of the time you'll have to take to get to court hearings.
