Why do guys have to initiate everything?
It seems to me (and I could be wrong) that girls can basically do whatever and as long as they're not horrifically ugly they'll get guys asking for dates.
But for me, no matter how long I wait, I'll literally never find a girl walking up to me asking for a date. I'm almost 30 years old, so I think it's reasonable to assume this trend will continue.

Topics aren't gender specific, it depends what you have in common. I have female friends I talk to about films and tv series, because we have mutual interest in them and I have female friends I talk to about uni courses and studying, because we attend same classes. With my gf I can talk to about pretty much anything, becasue we have similar outlooks and views on life and the world. Just chat about anything and find some things you're both into.
