I've been tired for over a year straight. I spend about 14 hours a day in bed yet only sleep about 9-10 each night since it takes me several hours to drop off and I wake up randomly and lose a few more hours.
I can never nap anymore during the day despite being very tired.
Doctors have been useless. Blood tests report nothing (thyroid, etc). I've supplemented for potential adrenal fatigue for months now to no avail so I'm soon ruling that one out. I've eaten very healthy for years and, for a few weeks now, I've exercised every other day. I went on walks for months and got out in the daylight. I always have my window open for fresh air.
Nothing helps. I've seen zero- ZERO improvement in the last year of relentless efforts to heal. This has taken over my entire life, and, largely, my will to live.
WHAT the FUCK is WRONG with me?
>>17949849
have you tried moving? sometimes what your building is made of can kill you, or even if there's jsut a mold problem it can slow you down. i had mold poisoning. no tests diagnose this.

depression, probably
if it's nothing physical then it might be in your head
it's not common, but symptoms do sometimes show up that way. look up atypical depression
>I spend about 14 hours a day in bed
That's a terrible idea. Make a fix schedule and stick with it. Spend 8 hours in bed, not 14.

Alright so I'm in a pickle between a few jobs. So like last summer I applied for 2 different unions. Union 1 my brother works for, hard work, pays well. Union 2 my uncle works at, easier work, pays slightly less. Got interview with Union 1 but really high on their waiting list, like it'll be a year. Union 2 called me today asking for an interview next week. Now if Union 2 hires me, how do I tell Union 1 that I currently can't work for them? I don't want to completely burn my bridge with Union 1 because it's a good back up plan.
>>17949796
>waiting list
this is what union b.s. is all about
waiting lists, seniority are more important than actual job skill
> Union 2 hires me
possible, more likely you'll get the same story - waiting list
get a real career
>>17949809
Union 1 is really popular and hard to get in since it starts at $23/hour and when you're no longer an apprentice you're making nearly $40/hour. Hence the waiting list. Union 2 said I'll be on a waiting list but most likely not nearly as long. Plus my uncle is high up in the union so I have a better chance.
shameless bump
I get put off buying stuff ALOT because my parents immediately/constantly judge me by what I just bought.
Any advice
>>17949755
How about don't buy stuff and save the money to get your own place instead?
>>17949760
I live in the uk so that's not happening any time soon...

Stop caring what judgements they throw at you is probably your best solution do research on that
18 and still a virgin lots of people my age and younger have and or are having sex I fell like i'm missing out should I be worried
Try being a virgin at 24.
>>17949725
18 is a perfectly normal age to be a virgin. There are plenty, they just don't make a number of themselves. Come back in 5-10 years if nothing changes.
Yeah my plan is to lose it before i turn 19. Final chance to be normie if i achieve that

I have an omorashi fetish. my girlfriend found out. I was mortified, but she took it in good humor. she doesn't consider it anything to do with her, though.
I can only get off to omorashi porn. she can't get me off, no matter what she does, and she thinks it's her fault when I actually think she'd be considered really good in bed otherwise. how fucked am I?
like should I just fake orgasms or what
What the fuck is omorashi. I swear you weeaboos never cease to amaze me.
why tf don't you just explore it with her instead?
i swear to god...
i need to fire a projectile
towards a position that is ahead of the enemy
and is further from or closer to
the enemy's position at the time of firing
based on the distance between player and enemy at that time
and the current velocity of the enemy (which is "1.0" when it is traveling forward normally, goes above "1.0" when turning on multiple axes)
included is an image
of the current behavior
it works pretty well
but I know I can target more accurately
math help or advice?
Pythagorean theorem? where to plug in which values? what do i solve for if targetahead, the vertice between a and b, is what i'm figuring out?
>>17949688
you need the speed and trajectory of the enemy object, then you need the speed of your projectile and the angle of the shot, if there are any factors like air resistance and gravity you have to factor this in too, if not its relatively easy:
If say the distance between you and the enemy is 1000 along the x axis and 200 meters along the y axis (so the distance is √(1000^2 + 200^2), and you are stationary and the enemy is moving towards you on the x axis at 10 meters/second while staying at the same height, and the speed of your projectile is 300meters/second then you can put it in a formula:
√(1000(-10s)^2+200^2) = 300s
solving s in this problem gives you the flight time of your projectile from launch to impact.
now that you know this flight time you multiply it with the speed of the enemy object to acquire a distance in meters, this gives you the lead on your target.
>>17949732
if you have gravity and air resistance then it becomes a little bit trickier, since these both affect the projectile. the air resistance and gravity will slow the projectile, to calculate the air resistance you need the square meters of the front of the projectile. to calculate the gravity you need the angle of your shot.
if you have your angle you can calculate how hard gravity will affects your shot, this is also done with the Pythagorean theorem. however since your projectiles trajectory will yearn towards the ground (gravity) your angle increases and so does the effect of gravity on the projectile.
>>17949732
also for a quick guess you can say the distance is like 1km, and speed is 300 m/s so 3 seconds flight time, so multiply the objects speed in seconds by 3 and this is your quick guess trajectory projection

In other words, I haven't been able to make any friends here.

welcome to liberalism
do your part and gas some kikes
one of the people I live with is legit, but the majority of the people I've met are taking the system for a ride. For example an Eritrean guy who was throwing parties and getting a bunch of Eritrean women pregnant because he said that was a sure way to gain a VISA! They will get it, too.
Money which is given to people by the government for food is spent on drugs. They will buy minimal food supplies, no hand soap, no shampoo, and just spend their money on dope and booze. At least the illegal drug trade is booming off them!

When you think you should do something, do it, instead of thinking about it. That's all there is to it, determination is the key. It takes some practice, but if you keep doing it, eventually it will form a habit.

Why are you here then?
Please help me my bros.
I am a 3D artist. Ive worked in film for a few years now doing VFX as a layout artist (not actually creating anything just layout out the CG and fake cameras to be rendered - I also motion track or "matchmovbe" raw footage)...
It was always my dream to be the guy 3D modeling all of the spaceships and creatures and things but it seems as though youre either an absolute pro at it from birth or you wait until youve got 3000 years of experience before they let you do it)
SO, I took 8 months off to develop a games portfolio as I know that its easier to become a 3d modeller in games.
Well I did it!... 9 months later i'm about to move to scotland for a job at a huge developer as a junior artist. Its still not ALL modeling but I get to do some and its on a massive games title.
Today (the DAY I secure a place to live in scotland ready for my new job in a few weeks) I get a call from a Huge film based VFX company (think guardians of the galaxy) asking me if I want to do some 3d modelling work for them.
so...
-- TL:DR --
NOW I HAVE TO CHOOSE - working on one of the biggest games in history in beautiful Scotland - or HUGE bloskbuster titles in scummy scumfuck terrorist-target London (but was always my dream to model on films)
Hit me up with that advice. Dying inside. Peace.
>>17949625
>have two amazing as fuck opportunities
>dying inside
i hate you so much. that being siad, i understand your struggle. its a hard thing to do.
the thing about film is that this can either be the job that leads to your permanent work... or this might be the job that just happens once and then you're struggling to recreate the opportunity for the rest of your career.
dunno what to tell ya. i want to say scottland cuz living there sounds awesome, sexy lands with accents, visiting nessie on the weekend, fondling guys under their kilts...
but i also am trying to work in the film industry so i understand the desire to do that.
worse case scenario, break it down by numbers. which one pays more?
>>17949625
also if the film job is temporary, is it possible the scottland job would wait for you? i mean its a pretty big deal to say 'hey on top of what you already hired, ill now have experience in blockbuster films'
>>17949625
Yeah, when you have two amazing opportunities like this just choose the one that pays more. Although, sounds like the film is a temporary thing, so maybe you can talk with the employer of the game company and he will save the spot.
Good luck anon, sounds like a good future for you.
I want to make sure my private Internet history can't be seen by my parents.
I use a separate email account and browser, duckduckgo, incognito mode and delete all traces after im done on my phone.
Does this work?
Will this work
Most people probably won't be able to do much more than look at your history; IT technicians are such may be able to look through your search engine cookies, so you should clear those (but I think Incognito mode doesn't allow cookies to track your activity). Your ISP will always be able to see what sites you visit, but they don't hold your history for that long since it would take too much data.
>>17949623
your parents can see everything, no matter what you do on your pc/phone
it's their router, you dumb fuck

approx 6 months now.
We do what friends do, watch movies go to bars etc.
But two nights ago it went a little far i think, we were cuddling and watching the city glimmer in the dark in the harbour then walked around until sunrise holding hands. We havent talked about it since, i dont know what she feels about it either.

So I met this girl through two mutual friends.
>Meet girl
>Things go good
>We stop talking because she is unsure of her feelings
>Stay in touch and see two mutual friends regularly
>We start talking again, but agree to take things slow
>Me and two said friends go to an art show last night
>She texts me asking me what I'm doing and I tell her
>She says "Oh well have fun then"
>Keep trying to make conversation with her
>Cold, bland texting
Okay so obviously she's mad. But I didn't invite her because we agreed to take things slow and I didn't want it to be weird. Considering the last time we hung out, I made a move and she rejected it.
So, we had also planned on hanging out this weekend(She said that she really wants to see me). I wake up this morning to a text from her saying "Don't think I'll be able to see you this weekend"
I don't know why there is this sudden mood change. Last night, I made some jokes about flirting with our waitress at this bar, but what are the chances one of our friends told her?
Really didn't mean anything by it.
Update: I talked to her. She said that nothing was wrong and I kept coaxing her into telling me and she finally said that she was just butt hurt that nobody told her anything. I said that I didn't want to make things weird and that we agreed to take things slow. She said that not even her friends told her so she was extra butt hurt. I just said that I'm sorry and that I didn't mean to hurt her feelings.
She kept saying that it's fine and that I should just let it go. That she will get over it but for me to just let it go.
I asked her when I can see her and she said that she's busy all day today and tomorrow. She said that she's going to big bear with some friends over the weekend and can't see me. I asked her if she would at least want to see me in the next couple of months and she says that she's just busy right now.
What do I do? Do I just leave her alone and let her cool off or should I make an attempt to go see her at her house ( she lives about 30 minutes away )
>>17949630
she sounds pretty stupid, desu
real immature
just drop her dude, you're clearly way more into her than she is into you
>>17949640
That's the thing. She is very compassionate and caring and I can tell that she really likes me and she even told me that she wants to see me all the time and wants to talk to me all the time. I get why she's butt hurt about not being invited especially by her friends so I can understand her side.
She texted me and said "don't tell the girls I'm upset, I'll get over it soon"
This is gonna sound like a red flag but she said I love you to me. This was it about a month ago and I told her that there is a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. She said that she loves me as a person so I don't think it's that weird but it still is weird kinda?
I'm 25 but I'm like a child who just discovered the most fascinating thing ever when I use the internet.
