How do you forgive yourself for a mistake you made? A while ago I pushed my sister into the swimming pool as a prank and she ended up breaking her neck and becoming crippled. She says she forgives me but I still feel some guilt. I know it was a freak accident but I can't dismiss the idea that without me, she would still be able to walk and move her arms.

Most likely your bad habits/stress/diet are having a negative effect on your hair. The things I listed worked for me. I'm 23. Noticed hair thinning last year, figured it was because I was stressed out from a breakup. I started taking the supplements and changing my washing habits and my hair regrew completely in the thin areas within 2 months. Hairline improved, hair is healthier than ever.
Also get a good shampoo/conditioner. I use a biotin+colagen shampoo once every other day, and mane and tail conditioner daily.

I don't go to any conventions, I go to work and I go home. I don't need chicken Alfredo analogies too see that the chances of me finding someone are near 0 because I'm not very social. But I know there are girls out there who are also introverted, but unlikely to even meet each other due to just that, lack of social interaction.
So I met a girl and I have a few problems.
Every time I say something she takes it complitely literal and misunderstands my intention.
I like her very much and she's a kind person even though she always says straight what she is thinking.
The problem is that I don't get her sometimes.
Like when I try to complement her she often tries to find flaws in what I said, but doesn't notice that it is a compliment.
I feel like we are in that way an exact opposite of each other.
She doesn't even understand why I would compliment her if I say it to her exactly like that, she finds it annoying.
Please help me on how I can communicate with her better.

How do you make friends as an adult? College drop out here, working a wageslave job and living with my mom. How exactly do I meet people? Go to a bars? Go to random sporting events alone? I never had very many friends but I lost contact with every one from high school and haven't talked to them in years. Now I'm all alone while most people probably graduate by now.

I'm 30 but would like to date younger, like 23/24 or so. My main reason for this is that most of the women my age seem to be either boring or bitter, or a combination of both. The secondary reason is that most girls my age are starting to show their age... I know beauty fades, but meh, I wanna date someone I find attractive as hell, at least for a while.
I don't really feel 30 years old, and still like to go out and party and adventure and stuff like that, whereas I feel that around my age, women are either completely career focused, or prefer to spend their evenings with a cheap bottle of white zinfandel, Netflix, and a sensible dinner.
But I don't exactly have a ton of exposure to girls at that age, from work or from my hobbies. How do I go about finding someone younger?

8 months ago, i gave my sister 200€ to fix her phone. She got it for birthday and broke it after a couple of weeks. Because she feared our parents, she asked me for the money and didnt tell them she broke it.
She promised to get a job and pay it back to me.
Time has passed and it seems like she forgot about it. I reminded her after christmas, since she got a shitload of money from my parents, but she still didn't give me the money back.
How do i get her to pay me back?
I dont want to tell my parents, she is lazy as fuck and always broke. I dont want to be mean, but i seriously want that money.
What do you think about it?

b) assume the person's to be incompetent with misled beliefs whose arguments are not to be taken seriously
With a) you risk being tricked or misled by a genuine idiot.
With b) you risk hurting relationships with people who are not idiots.

Hello, I just moved to a new uni about a month ago and I still have absolutely nobody to really talk to. I went last semester at a cc without speaking to anybody also. I think this might be starting to get to me. As of now all I've been doing is going to classes and then back to my dorm and repeating. There are no clubs I'm interested in joining, and overall I feel like there are no real opportunities for me to find people that I would enjoy being with. Any advice?

Join clubs even if you're not that interested. Give it a chance, might change your mind. Go to every dumb campus event you catch wind of. Even if it's some boring ass seminar type thing, you can catch people on the way out and ask them their thoughts on it and shit.

Yeah, it's difficult but you can. Use the class as an ice breaker. Catch someone and ask if they understood it or something. Most will probably blow you off, but eventually people will start to remember you. They'll then ask you when they need something, and you progress from there.
Honestly, I meet most of my classmates by showing up to class early, before the doors open, just congregating outside the lecture hall. Chat up people while waiting for the doors to open.

Would you feel comfortable with surveillance cameras inside and outside your entire house?
I'm trying to understand this guy I'm starting to see.
I have been seeing this guy from work for about 2 months, This previous weekend I went to his house for the first time to watch a movie. When I first walked in I noticed there were surveillance camera's every where.
I asked him why he had surveillance camera's inside his house and he said for protection.
He said he has 1 in every room, except the bathrooms and a couple small closets. He showed me he even had one in his bedroom. I asked how many he had and he said 32 total including the ones outside the house.
I was absolutely floored!!
Why would you have that many cameras and why in your bedroom too?
He rationalized it by saying "I've seen myself naked before, It doesn't bother me".
I also asked if his ex cared and he said she didn't like the one in the bedroom and he took that one down then put it back up when she moved out.
Maybe I've just never seen this before but do people normally do this?
Would you date a guy who had cameras inside and outside his house?

So...
The last time I heard something similar this it was from a friend (my best friend actually)...
She had a friend (who I've met before) who had an (ex)boyfriend that had something similar setup at his place. Cameras everywhere, multiple monitors set up, and would apparently always have an aversion to law enforcement, credit cards, and anything that left a record...
In spite of that, people thought he was a nice enough guy (I never met him, though my friend did)
So... I don't remember exactly what happened... but one night a group of them went out drinking and partying one night and she invited out her ex, later on everyone was starting to bail, and they ended up meeting another couple and went to go back to his house.
The couple ended up leaving at some point in the night.
My friend's friend didn't show up for work that next week (I remember her freaking out about this because her friend wasn't the type to just ghost like that)
No one could reach her.
No one could find her car.
They questioned the couple and the couple said the last they saw her, she was still at the apartment when they left.
They questioned the boyfriend and he said she left for home.
A week later he moves away without a word and no forwarding address.
A week after that they find her car abandoned a couple blocks away from his place.
A week after that they find her corpse in a ditch, OD'd on roofies.
So... Yeaaaahh...
Not saying this guy is crazy but... He's also not normal...
I'm a dude but... if I was a woman... this is one of those cases where I'd just be like... uuhhhh... Nope. Hell no.
But I guess I also (kinda) knew someone where that worked out to be the worst case scenario....

Allow me to set the scene:
I live with a friend, and we're good friends with these two girls that we hang out with, because we met at college and hit it off. My mate has a girlfriend, and they have been together for a while. A few days ago, the guy and one of the girls in our group accidentally kissed on the lips. It was honestly accidental as we all saw it and were confused. He tells his girlfriend and she flips the fuck out (I'm guessing there's some sort of trust issue there).
I went over to hang out with the girls, and one of them told me that he also sometimes used to grab her ass, but blamed it on family issues etc.
The issue is, now the guy doesn't want to spend time with the girls because the gf doesn't want it and he doesn't want to fuck things up. How can this be fixed?

Is it possible to turn a fat/chubby girl into a slimmer version of herself? assuming that you "turn" her into your healthier lifestyle of exercising and eating healthy.
Why would I want this? well I've met a few girls that are great gf/wife material, the biggest drawback is that they are fat and that's been a big no for me. at 29, all girls that I meet that are nice and good-looking are of course, married. I think I'd be easier to turn a fat girl -> slim than to make a bitch -> nice person.
about myself, im in my late 20's with my own house, making 80k, drive really nice car, not fat, 155 lbs and I also have some hobbies that i can actully talk to people about (not anime or videogame bs). I'm however, short af at 5'6, socially awkward, and an introvert.
