So recently I ordered a pair of $60 earbuds that was delivered to my apartments management office (the delivery lockers haven't been installed yet). I left the apartment due to Hurricane Harvey right when they were delivered and when I came back a looter had ripped it open and stolen them (I assume anyway, they just told me it was opened with nothing in it).
Can I get reimbursed for this? I really don't want to have to buy new ones because the retarded fucking management couldn't put it in a secure location.

What's the best way to make some friends? I've been at my school for a year and I don't have have a single person to talk to. I joined a cyber security club, and while I like it, I've had no interaction with anyone in it because it's kinda just an extra lecture I have to attend. Long time lurker/poster here. I wanted to ask a 'what if' question.
If you have the opportunity to move, even if it's just making $10/hr with benefits, would that be worth it?
I live in Mississippi, more specifically, Hattiesburg. College town with not much to offer. I got an English degree and have been putting applications out of state for a couple of months now with no replies yet (except scammers, they've popped up like weeds). A friend attending Dartmouth told me that I should apply up there, especially since a Dunkin Doughnuts just opened. Most of my applications were in the North anyway, so I figured I would. Turns out that Dunkin gave me the job and would pay what I described above.
I've only ever been offered at most $8/hr with nothing else and I'm struggling to pay bills. I know that it's only two dollars more and would have to pay more because of different area, but I'm desperately wanting to leave. There is nothing in this state to save its life, and no educational benefits would mean that no business worth their salt would want to come here because their kids would get shit tier education. Does this sound like it would be worth moving for, especially since the job would be seen as a pivot?

After high school I took a break and went to college until 3 years later. I've been there for about a year already and I feel really unmotivated to continue. Ive had the same issues starting college, dropped out (if i didn't, i would have finished general ed by now). Came back a year later and decided what I really wanted to do. Eventually these feeling will subside.
As for your issues at home, you may want to find a job and very cheap housing. Maybe get assigned with roomates? I cant comment to much about that, since idk your area at all.

I need to figure out wtf I'm going to do with my life. I've heard people rant about how all of STEM is a meme while others say that any specialized type of engineering is a 100% guaranteed high-paying job. I have a great interest in subjects like math, physics and chemistry but I'm not sure I'm autistic enough to major in one of those. I just want to do something where I can find a well paying job.
Any suggestions other than ">falling for the STEM meme"? I'm currently planning on ChemE then probably turning that into something like materials science/engineering or petroleum engineering.
