I just got a notification on my facebook stating that someone went on my facebook account "from a new browser" or something, 2 days ago. I clicked on the notification and it said my facebook was opened in my hometown (I dont live there anymore) and it gave the time my facebook was opened and the IP address. I have a strong suspicion that it was my ex girlfriend who I broke up with (we're on really bad terms). Is there any legal action I can take? What should I do? I'm a little freaked out, someone must have guessed my password (I changed it obviously). Thanks

Today I would like to share something very personal. This is a problem of mine that has manifested itself in the last few years, and this is seriously hurting my emotional life. Let us go back in time to 2013. (I am 18 btw)
2013 started my last year in high school. Everything was perfect. I had my first actual girlfriend and me and my friends had some of the best moments in our lives. The last semester was golden, and I was so happy for what the future might hold for all of us. We felt limitless. We were the most badass squad you could ever imagine. We were always playing around, weather it was climbing up on rooftops to smoke weed or pulling pranks on random people. Well, 2014 rolled around and high school was ending. I enrolled in community college because I'm a lazy fuck, and some of my friends chose college instead. High school then ended and we had a fun summer. Then it was fall time, and school started again. I met with my friends from high school less and less, and I got some new friends but something was missing. These new friends couldn't entertain me as much as my old friends did and we didn't have nearly as much fun together. I did see people from my high school, but not that often.
Fast forward to 2017. I see my old friends maybe 3-5 times a year now. And so much has changed, and not in a good way. Some have become very succesful people. They are wealthy and famous, and now shun all of us who aren't. Won't even say hi if bumped into. Many have become shut-ins and depressed people who can't work or study and are pretty much disabled for the rest of their lives, and some of them will most likely commit suicide. The rest have had their occasional weed smoking perverted into heavy drug use or alcoholism and are also depressed in addition to being completely braindead and unable to even hold a slightly more complex conversation.

Friends are products of a set of circumstances. Since circumstances change, it is reasonable that friends would too. If they refuse to hang out, they either need a lot of help or just don't want to be friends. Either way, you will not be able to change it by yourself. You can't force it.
You have to move on, for your sake. Stay open to them, but don't let them use you, and don't try to force a relationship that is missing whatever it was that created it.
Your late childhood isn't ruined, it's just gone, no longer here. Don't live in the past.

I get where you're coming from my man. I have distanced myself from the drug addicted ones, since they're the most unbarable nowadays. But strangely, they also happened to be my best friends out of all of the friends from high school.
Since everything started to go downhill, I have gotten much more motivation to keep my life in order. But I can't lose the feeling that I desperately try to uphold my standard of living in a dying society. Not only have my high school friends regressed to mental illnesses and drug addictions, but so have many other people who I know from my hometown.
My life will go on and I will become moderately succesful, but it's hard seeing your peers dying.

People act weird towards me. Like cold and reserved somehow. I don't talk much, but at least I'm polite and don't spout out weird shit. At my new job I say hi to people when I see them first time in the morning. If I don't, they never say hi to me. I sometimes try to make small talk in the coffee table and get only short answers. They don't even try to talk to me or ask anything.
Could it be my facial expressions? My face looking weird? Do I smell? Am I just paranoid? Are people just rude?
I don't want to post my picture here but at least nobody ever said I look weird in my pics, so whatever.

If they don't respond you can follow up with something like, "Well somebody's having a bad day." and laugh it off.
You act like enough of a dick, and eventually they'll lash out at you and spill what the real problem is. Then you kind of just go from there.
I'm lazy though, so I don't know if I'd even care to do that. To some people, work is just work. They just want to get it done, and get out. I don't think I'd pay too much mind to it.

Hi /adv/, looking for some help with university.
Current finishing up second year, however not sure if I want to continue to top up.
Pros of top up:
-get a bachelors degree instead if a foundation (better degree)
-Possibility if developing skills for my future job/career and going in a more specialised role
-more work towards an online portfolio for work (plan on going freelance rather than company based)
-Chance of finding work 6 months after finishing course
-course is pretty interesting/somewhat enjoyable
-I enjoy working one to one with people
Cons:
-dislike members of the current group, some have shown to be bossy/up themselves a lot although considered them as good friends
-Because of point above, dislike group work and am spoken over when I try and get ideas across, no one seems to care
-Tutor doesn't really put a lot of effort into helping out, maybe backseats at times
-Course has mostly been a tester course, many problems to do with equipment and programs
-being chucked into the deep end with little to no help, most advice I've been given is "use references" (Art course doing digital art)
-Im going to be around £22k in debt. Currently £15kish in debt.
Not sure exactly what I want to do at this time, however I have the end of the month to decide. What do you guys think?

I'd have finished my course at the end of this year with a base degree. The course I currently do lasts for 2 years and you end up with a foundation degree. My top up year is just an extra year of the same course, but ends up with a better degree at the end of it.
Basically, I don't know whether or not I want a better degree for the course I'm doing.

Pretty important!
Over the last couple days I developed this rash on my inner thigh (where thigh meets groin). Little worried. Keep note that I'm going to visit the walk in tomorrow.
Anyways thing that I think this potentially is: intensive heat rash or jock itch from excessive sweating from my groin. Been sweating a lot more down there to the point where my boxers are slightly damp. Any idea from the pic what this could be?
