Has anyone here taken an online class at their uni or college needing the use of respondus lockdown browser for exams?
This shit is intrusive as fuck, and I don't want it on my computer, but the class says its mandatory. I've taken classes before that say they use it, and never used it. However this specific class has it plastered everywhere, but as far as I can see, I can just take the test anyways.
Is there a way around this, or should I just say fuck it and take it without the "special browser" and webcam.

i dont really believe in bad ideas. if your finances are taken care of via loans or family help then 750 isn't going to be much help in the long run. Spend it on something you need outside of your monthly neccisities. if thats new clothes, get some new clothes. i wouldn't waste money on premium headphones, but that's just me.

I have opportunities to go out and try to have fun but going somewhere like a party alone is so intimidating.
I don't have any friends to go with to parties, so when I am able to work up enough courage to go, I'm usually just standing by myself, drinking and on my phone.
Music is too loud to talk to someone, almost everyone is in their own group, and girls are so defensive when any guy tries to talk to them.

Not 21 yet so not going to bars or clubs, which I'd much rather do.
Beginning of the semester always means fairly open frat parties or I'll be invited to them more often.
Last year I had a group of friends that would all go but now I don't have anyone.
I'm alone in my dorm room, far away from family, no real friends, and no connection to any acquaintances.
As I said in the OP, these parties aren't exactly loner friendly.

Those are somewhat objective improvements you can make. I say somewhat because they are just facade but also a sure fire way to be more normie like.
You should definitely try some sort of self development course or coaching on skype or what not. You need practice in getting down the basics of communicating.
I read this in a dating advice book which is weird but I think it could work for you. A good part of communicating is entertaining yourself. Having fun and enjoying life pretty much. This was about getting dates and not coming off as desperate. Besides the functional aspect you communicate to entertain yourself, tell jokes, have banter, learn something interesting, etc. I think this is a good goal and decent way to be effevtive in communicating. But make this a sort of long term goal, make sure you have a good basic understanding of communicating and being a normie around normies before you spill some spaghetti at the wrong time and become an outcast. This is something you'll have to be careful about.
A good approach might also be to force yourself into social interactions, and a good place for you to do that is a place where you won't be judged much. I'd say volunteering or some sort of courses (salsa or ballet room dance or some sort of dance or maybe a fitness class idk). I've heard Meetup.com is nice but I can't confirm at all.
An important thing you'll have to understand is only you can help yourself. Nobody else can do this for you. You have to find that strength within yourself. Look on the brightside, if you aknowledge the existance of a problem you are half way to solving it.

Hi. I have a serious issue which is driving me crazy. I cant stop eating. I eat even when Im completely full and it hurts my stomach but I keep on eating. I found myself hiding food from my girlfriend and secretly eating when shes asleep. I gained so much weight in the past year its insane. How do I fix myself? So a few weeks ago my aunt married her boyfriend,who is a pretty cool,down-to-earth kind of guy. However,I have noticed he has a bit of a problem with his gaming hobby. One day he told me he played AC 4 for a whole day when he was free from work,and I was pretty disappointed.

So to try to make a long story short, I was asked by a friend to film a band he was recording. I quickly regretted saying yes as I knew it would be a hassle, and when the day came it absolutely was. After filming for free and planning on putting together the video for free (both of which I have the equipment and the skill that I should be getting paid), my friend became an absolute bitch about sending me the song and insisted I send him what I shot so he could make the video! It was a lot of bullshit, but in the end I got the song and made a video out of it (thus expanding my portfolio), so hey whatever I got something out of it.
This was two months ago, today I found out my video was posted on the band's youtube a week after. It now has 47,000 views whereas mine has 100. They did not ask me, and I wouldn't make a video for someone else to post unless I got paid for it. They did credit my name in the description, but there's no link to my channel or site so it does dick all for me.
So here's the question, should I report it and get it taken it down? I'm not a spiteful person but you can imagine my annoyance when my video got massive views on someone else's channel while my own videos top out at 300, with most being under a 100. The other side to this is there's the video on my channel with their song on it, which they could have taken down if they wanted to retaliate. It wouldn't be huge to me losing that one video, but then I lose the only thing I got out of this damn thing.

I got IBS for about 7 years and there isnt a single day i dont think about killin myself. I have too much gas, sometimes it even hurts and its embarrassing. Ive been to at least 3 doctors and 1 dieticitian, none of them really helped me. I dont know what to do anymore.
