I have a question for /adv/, does anyone know of an effective way of controlling substance use, specifically with weed? When I first started years ago I had great control, but eventually it got to a point where I was smoking everyday, which I found to be bad for me. In my current state in life I now go through cycles of smoking for a few months, then quitting entirely for a few months. The problem is, if I have any weed at all, I will always smoke it. The only time I don't smoke is if I don't have it.
Do any anons know a way to combat this? I just want to use responsibly again, where I can have weed in the house but not smoke it until the weekends (or only when I have time, or whatever).

5 years ago I was content being single, working on my career, having a waifu, etc.
Now I've spent way too much time on /pol/ and feel like if I don't have a wife, a property, and 10 kids, I'm useless to humanity.
I want to have a family one day but I should be able to make myself happy - and I should only have a family if I meet the right person, not have a family just to have a family or "fit in" with what is expected of people or whatever.
How do I go back to my old self who enjoys being alone, enjoys games and anime and stuff and isn't all wrapped up with "being an adult".

How do I apologize to my dad?
I'm in my mid 20's now and have fully accepted that my mom used me a weapon during my late childhood during their divorce. I bought it all hook line and sinker, and learned to see him as the bad guy.
The older I got the more I saw the truth, but over years of thinking it over I've finally accepted she's not actually that nice and used me.

Ok so I want to make a FWB/FB relationship with this guy I have met. The sex is great, neither of us want of even have time for an actual relationship. Perfect. Two things have come to my attention though:

I went to a trade high school, worth it. I went in for automotive and learned a lot that helped me personally.
I would say that the best trades to look into are automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and welding. I could be forgetting others.
I liked automotive because there are a variety of topics you get to learn such as a little welding there, little electrical work here, etc.
