So I'm going on a third date with a girl and I need advice on what I should do to make it a great. We've decided on going to see a movie, probably thinking Beauty and the Beast and maybe dinner before the movie.
Here's some information:
- First date went well, went for coffee and drinks at a bar.
- Second date, went out to dinner and went back to her place and ended up making out for a bit. However, for the most part, the whole time I was really awkward and sounded like a total autist (not sure why she's into me).
So I have zero relationship experience and would like to see how it goes with this girl. Really want to redeem myself for how bad the second date went. What are some things I should be doing come this next date?
Jesus christ anon.
I never had a date at my age and even I can tell what is wrong: You got no balls.
>we ended up making out a bit
What you're calling third date is actually a third chance.
>not sure why she's into me
Duh...it's because she actually LIKES YOU as a person.
This gotta be a troll
If she is sticking with you at this point it fucking means that you already done the job.
So man up and be more dominant this time.
Also don't wait until you two say bye like in the movies, if possible don't even walk her home.

You did not help me in the slightest. I know she likes me, and I've initiated everything. I'm just looking for advice on what's expected of me at this stage and how I can make this enjoyable for the both of us.
I think you need a hug man, no reason why you have to lash out at me.
>>18142489
>This gotta be a troll
With that logic almost every OP on /adv/ is. Cmon man, why post such a long but useless post for OP..
>>18142375
>>18142507
OP, I think you should ask her to come to your place after the movie. AND I MEAN YOU ASK HER ONLY AFTER THE MOVIE AND NOT TALK ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND. If she declines, be okay with it and maybe she gives you a kiss, and stop contacting her until she does. If she agrees to go to your place, then you can do anything you two want, but if she has no ideas, you need to come up with something. Just watching tv (making out) is good.
I can draw and I'm semi-attractive. What's the easiest way I can use these to make money off these?

One of my friends is dating my ex that I lived with for a couple years, i really loved her and I thought the guy was a pretty good friend.
How do I stop thinking of them?
I don't want to see this guy ever again, would it be wrong to avoid any situation that he's present?
grow up
>>18142321
Ever been in this situation?
My best friend is an old GF has been for 25 years and my wife of 10 years is fine with that ,recently my wifes ex has been dating my friend /ex gf
no one cares Im happy they are happy you are not the person you were then and as you get older you see it just doesn't matter.
24 years old. Became depressed in high school, not truly becoming aware of it until years later. Eventually I pursued a master's degree in computer engineering but made no real friends and more or less stopped going to classes. Three years later, I am struggling with my studies.
Last year I finally sought help and has undergone treatment. I am now hopeful that I will recover in the near future. But this entails reconsidering my life choices during the last 5 years. Engineering (I would likely specialize in software) was never a passion and I fear I'm becoming increasingly disinterested by it. I considered it something I could do decently well with enough pay for a comfortable life. My "lifelong dream" however is filmmaking and as clarity returns I find myself picking up photography as a hobby again and watching more films. Without going into the details of how to make it as a filmmaker, I feel that if I don't pursue this in some form I will die regretful. Simultaneously I feel a genuine interest in the kind of physical and mental disorders that invisibly affect people and I feel like research in this field would be a way to reconcile with this period of my life. But this would entail starting over on a completely new degree.
During my years of being deprived of well-beingand pleasure, the only thing that made sense was more philosophical truth and beauty. I would dream of the day that I would be able to live with clarity and in accordance with my highest ideals. It's like the only way I can achieve reconciliation is to bring something of value with me from these dark years and let them define me in some sense.
Next month I will be 25 years old and I have no idea whether to finish my degree or do something else. Does anyone have any thoughts on this or similar experiences?
tldr?
>>18142276
I'll be real with you. How much time do you have left on the computer engineering degree? Did thou have a bachelor's in it yet?
>>18142400
Do you *
Sorry, I'm a dumb phoneposter

place the flattest bottles flat against the splash guard. stack the others in front of them adding space if you so wish.
arrange hair care utensils to be straight.
how do you organize a crowd? you make them stand in lines.
>>18142269
i meant more like. is there some kinda organizer i could buy that would help here? there's so much more i want to leave out (because lazy) that i keep in the mirror but it's just not practical. maybe the sink itself is too small lol.
or maybe i should get like a freestanding organizer that can keep tons of stuff on it? there's maybe room for that against the wall idk
>>18142289
even if oyu bought an organizaer it owuldnt be bale to accomodate your specific bottles and tubes very well. definitely a small sink
Told a girl I was sending positive vibes and she didn't know what it meant and now I look like a dork. How to salvage?
>>18142261
sounds like shes pretending to be ignorant to give you a hard time.
>>18142261
>>18142272
which is justified if you said that for no real reason
Just don't care and hold on to your positive vibes, not every one is out to get you and don't overplay every little mistake. If she makes a big deal out of it, which she wont, then handle it with them positive vibes and help her understand what you meant then change the topic. Just do you bro.
>have a hot face

>can sleep more cuz i have to study
>wanna lose fat
>if i dont eat a lot im hungry and cant study

>also, people like me (most people at least)
sounds like a stupid problem, maybe take a look at the stupid excuses you are making and stop making them you silly fat man

buy celery and asparagus in bulk. hungry? eat that. they say you burn calories eating celery. asparagus is pretty light on calories too. eat those throughout the day adn you'll still get full, but you wont put on weight.
I have to take a shit but by I live in a shared house and we are out of water (can't flush). What do I do?
Have a garden and shovel?
Fill a bucket from the neighbors and use it to flush.
>>18142244
This, you can flush a toilet manually just fine.
Which should I chose and why?
Royal air force
Royal marines
Royal army
I am an active person, I like being out doors and I like to be doing things. I'm not anti social, perhaps a little timid or shy, but definitely don't fear away from conversation.
I don't want to work a normal 9 - 5 job, I definitely WANT to travel, I definitely want to go places, experience life. I hate the idea of working a dead end office job, or construction job, or engineering job e.t.c
I want something exciting and risky. I don't particularly mind putting myself at risk.
I'm dead set on enlisting, I'm just not entirely sure on which branch to choose.
I apologise for an extremely generic description of myself, I'm not entirely sure how personal I need to be to give good context to help make this decision.
My downsides:
I definitely don't like being told what to do, I'll do it sure, but I end up hating it. I much prefer to be treated like an adult, as well as have the freedom to do things on my own accord, the freedom to be left alone to get on with it.
I kinda want a role where I have gym access, weight lifting has been my hobby of choice since I was 14 and I'd hate to give it up completely.
I'd love to hear any past experiences you may have. I might not be able to reply to them all, however I will read every single post.
>I hate the idea of working a dead end office job, or construction job, or engineering job
Firstly, how is construction or engineering dead end? You know the Army is on a big recruitment drive for engineers, going so far as to boost starting salaries for engi grads? The engineers in the Army probably have the best jobs, blowing shit up and building crap, fucking around with big vehicles all day while not being at too much risk.
>I want something exciting and risky
Nothing really risky anymore unless a new war starts which no sensible person, soldier or not, would wish for.
Marines can lead into special forces but that's another level completely and not worth talking about before you are even in the military.
>I kinda want a role where I have gym access
Come on dude, read the websites at least, they stress that soldiers in all branches have wide access to sporting facilities, especially gyms. How do you think they expect the men to stay fit?
>I definitely don't like being told what to do
lol. You might want to fix that before you go into an un-voidable 4 year contract where you will be bossed around all day.
>I much prefer to be treated like an adult
They will only treat you like an adult if you actually are one. Most people that join the military are kids, who barely know how to make their bed, never mind act like a responsible adult. You probably won't be treated with great respect unless you earn it.
I suggest you go to the army, navy, and RAF websites and look through the Role Finders to narrow done certain jobs that you would enjoy doing. We can't read your mind but you can definitely read a website full of information for prospective soldiers. Generally, your experience in either branch will be similar, with the obvious differences (army = land, RAF = aircraft, navy = water)

>I definitely don't like being told what to do, I'll do it sure, but I end up hating it. I much prefer to be treated like an adult, as well as have the freedom to do things on my own accord, the freedom to be left alone to get on with it.
LOL you're going to have to get over that if you want to be in the military. I'm a US Marine and I can assure you your 4 years will be filled entirely by being treated like a retarded child because one guy in your battalion is a retarded child and being told to do stuff you don't want to do
There's no Royal Army, it's the British Army.
Haven't even mentioned the Navy. Not an option?
Are apprenticeships more of a meme than university? The things I hear about apprenticeships sound too good to be true, but the prospect of student debt and the risk of not finding a degree-related job at the end of it really puts me off uni too. I know I can do better than just go into full time work, and I would really like to be a chemist or forensic scientist. What would my best option be?
>>18142198
Everything is a meme.
You should try to talk to people who do the trade your interested in, to figure out if you like the day-to-day
>>18142198
You sound like a fucking retard
Apprenticeships can be better than University though. No Student debt, you actually get paid for the work and there's a better chance at securing a job out of it.
Although I would advise caution though, as some companies use apprenticeships to get cheap labour as the wage for apprentices is about half the national minium wage. Worst case is that they get rid of you after a year and hire a new apprentice and repeat the cycle.
Hey, Adv. yet another relationshit question thread.
I just wonder what my course of action should be of a girl I've been dating for 6 months.
every morning when she woke up she would always text me good morning and ask me how im doing and call me a sweet pet name. for the past 3 days I've been the one initiating convos and either getting short, bland or no responses.
is this a shit test or is this the death knell
she's 21 im 25.
In my experience things are looking grim.
Try to confront her asap even if it's a shit test.
>>18142190
she hasn't been responding to texts today. should I show up to her house?
>>18142173
Use patience skill and chat her in person.
This particular girl have been creeping on me for too long. She asked me out but I shrugged it off with "I want to think" card. How do I cut all of my communication with her without being a dick?
>>18142130
y r u not fucking her like a slut? u a fag?
Why will you not fuck her?
>>18142275
Well, her tryhard personality of being an "innocent girl" disgusts me. She will start gossiping about her friends and telling me their shitty aspects as soon as they leave. Although thanks of this, I am somehow starting to understand what kind of shit goes on a girls' mind. Also she is well aware that I am hitting on someone else so there is that.
Hi guys!
It has been quite a while since the last time I posted here in. The reason I am posting here right now, is because I am in DESPERATE need of advice.
I am a 22 year old male, second year medical student and I live in Denmark. I am originally from Faroe Islands (very small country just south from Iceland) and I moved here to Denmark to study medicine with my girlfriend. We decided to move in together at dorm and we have since then been living together for more than a year.
Now the reason I ask for advice is because the love between us is slowly fading away, to that point where i don't know if I even love her anymore. There is this girl that lives right next to our room who I have had a crush on for a while. Not like a crush who makes my heart rate go up every time I see her, more like a I think she is cute. There was this party at our dorm last night where me and this girl were quite close. We were dancing, singing and laughing and I didn't think for a moment about my girlfriend during the party. I just wanted to be with her all night and she made me feel happy. I think that she is also interested in me, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't wanna make a move on her last because we were never alone during the party. I didn't want anyone else to see us being together.
What should I do?
Leave my girlfriend:
Pros - I might be happy, can finally make a move on the girl mentioned before
Cons - I will lose all of my girlfriends family relations, I will maybe have to move out of this dorm, not 100% chance that she will wanna be with me
Please help me, I have no one to talk to about this and it is killing me.
plz
If you dont want to stay with your gf just dump her i dont see the problem.
From what you wrote it seems pretty clear you are making projects that dont involve her as your partner and you are just scared about leaving your comfort zone.
Will the girl let you do sex stuff?
Quick /adv/, I'm alone with a cute girl at work I like but I'm a sperg who doesn't know how to talk to women. Give me stuff to talk about. I already asked her where she's from and what she's studying.
Oh, also she's on her break right now. I'm not spergy enough to browse 4chan in front of her face.
>her
>>18142068
Get her to start talking about herself. Women enjoy that. The key here is to exhaust every single topic until you find something you both enjoy, otherwise you two aren't meant to be.
