How to i get rid of blackheads?
I exfoliate every day for 4 months alredy and they still aren´t gone

You cannot.
Rest assured though, it's only obvious to you. I mean, you don't notice other people's blackhead.
>>
>>18159031
but they are quite visible and in fact my friends told me about them, i hadn´t noticed them ever
>>
>>18159032
Man, what shitty friends.
Standard solution would be exfoliation. BHA, Azelaic, pore brush, clarisonic.
And make-up obv.

I went on a date last week with a girl who was a loose aquantance for about a year. For a second date I got a couple tickets to a special event at a theme park.
She has a young daughterUnfortunately last minute her babysitter canceled.
I have a third ticket and they expire tomorrow for the event . Would it be weird for a second date to invite both of them?

This one girl behaved flirty with me first, but I was too drunk that night. After that she attended to my concert, she spent most of the night with me but at some moment the drugs kicked in and I went full Andromeda while my friend (the singer of the band) talked with the hoe, getting to make out with her. Then she took me to her home, where, once again, I turned out to be too wasted to do anything, so I ended up leaving.
Months later (we ignored each other since our last meeting), the same hoe started texting me, approaching me at the campus and shit. I ask her if she's going to my band's next concert and she says yes. A couple days after, I mention this to my friend and she texts her saying that we (the band) will pay her ticket.
What the fuck should I do? This guy is truly showing himself as an abject dastard.

>This guy is truly showing himself as an abject dastard.
Oh, fuck yourself. You don't have any "claim" here. You've blown 3 separate chances to get with this girl because you were too fucked-up to function. You only refer to her as a "hoe" so you clearly don't LIKE her all that much, you just want easy pussy.

If you want her, make a fucking move. You're just being a coward. You can't fight your friend for the "right" to have her, just fucking talk to her, and maybe don't be ridiculously intoxicated next time
>>
>>18158912
Actually it was 2 chances.
>you just want easy pussy.
Same as my lad. Does that make my intentions less legitimate?
>make a fucking move
I'll do, on the night of the concert. Trouble is my friend will be doing the same.
>>
>>18158940
Not "less," but certainly not "more." It'd be one thing if you were in love and he just wanted to fuck. But you both want the same thing, so you don't really have any right to ask him to back off. It's up to her.

She sounds kinda nasty anyway, I don't know why you're letting this girl Yoko Ono your band. You'd really try to start a bunch of drama with your bandmate over her? Why? Last time you saw her, you picked drugs over pussy, and then ignored her for months. Why is she so important all the sudden?

Ok so my eyesight is not that great.
I have trouble reading small writing more than a few meters away.
I realize i should get glasses but I am too poor to buy them and will be for at least 6 months.
Is it a bad idea not wearing glasses ? Will my eyesight worsen considerably not wearing them ?
I spend a lot of time infront of a computer screen is there anything I should be doing to not worsening my eyesight.
Or should I definitely get glasses no matter what.

Not really, not really.
>>
>>18158890

1. Get a prescription for your eyesight. (don't know how that works in your country, just make sure you get the cheapest obviously)

2. Try different frames on any glasses shop, find one that fits your face the best. (google guides on face and glasses shape)

3. Order models similar to the ones you liked on cheap online stores (like zennioptical, eyebuydirect or warby parker).

It's the safest way to buy glasses, no incorrect prescription, not something you don't like, and something not so expensive.

My wife is rather protective of our son. He's 10.

She acts like every bush has pedophiles lurking behind them, there's a conspiracy to kill our kids with gluten, video games are all "Hatred" tier, and that he needs full helmet & pads to ride his bike.

Personally I think she'll turn him into a sheltered little bitch. How much protection is too much?

>How much protection is too much?

If he's not exposed to the risk of pain, then he's not learning how to prevent pain. That's exactly what 'sheltered' means.

PSA: try to find a middle ground between opposing extremes. Life is not a dichotomy.
>>
>>18158854
The helmet and pads ain't the worst idea especially if he's a little kid. Those fuckers do the stupidest shit. Video games is iffy since it's good to have other hobbies but he will be a little alienated from other kids. Pedo and cpnspiracy thing seem a bit much unless you live in some weird violent hormonal place. You know you could talk to her as the fucking dad right?
>>
>>18158854
I don't see how protecting your kid from getting a TBI is gonna make him into a pussy? Is buckling your seat belt for pussies too?

Video games are full of hatred and they suck ass regardless, but I played them as a kid, and was always able to completely differentiate video games from reality. Honestly if you're worried about him becoming a pussy video games will probably do that more than anything. It's the number one beta male hobby behind anime, unless your 10 year old is in a fraternity playing FIFA with bros.

And beyond all that, people just have their own temperment. I'm good friends with two brothers, who are a year apart. They had the same parents, but their personalities are quite different.

I'm an absolute beginner when it comes to weight training, but I understand that many of the best and most effective exercises (squats, bench press etc.) require a spotter. In a normal gym setting, what is the standard way to find someone to spot for you? Asking strangers every time seems like leeching (though it might be normal; I don't know), so should I bring a friend? I'm not looking for a personal trainer, but if it's highly recommended, I'll consider it.

>>
>>18158838
I'm /fit/. Only bench really uses a spotter, but you don't need one. Just be careful you don't overload. If you fail, bring it slowly to your chest and then roll the bar down your body.
>>
The simple answer is to just not let yourself come anywhere near failing.

If you're not ON TRACK RIGHT NOW towards becoming a competitive athlete, then perish all thought of lifting at a competitive level. Just make yourself tired then quit, consider using pairs of dumbbells rather than a bar and plates. If you're in an actual gym then you can probably find a pair of dumbs that add up to your own bodyweight unless your body is a gelatinous spheroid.

2 years ago I started studying physics in a very prestigious uni and ever since I was a little kid I had big dreams of going to grad school for applied physics and eventually do research and contribute to the advancement of the human race by creating and developing new technology, and I would like it all to culminate with me starting a business around some great new technological innovation like nuclear fusion, space propulsion, AI, genetic modification or something along those lines. Basically be an Elon Musk type character. Of course I know that's extremely unlikely so in practicality I would've been happy achieving just a small portion of success compared to him or any of the other great innovators.

Anyways, things didn't pan out. First of all I'm not as smart as I thought. I'm actually pretty average as far as physics students at my uni goes. Second, and most worrying, I've lost almost all interest and passion for the field. The constant grind of going to lectures, devouring 3000+ pages of heavy math and physics per semester, an endless barrage of problem sets, labs, reports etc. etc. I don't mind working hard in general, in fact if I get really into something I'll work on it nonstop and sometimes forget to eat lol, but the problem is I'm not getting excited about anything we're learning anymore. It's all just "something I gotta get through". It doesn't help either that all my peers are super autistic about everything we're learning and will literally read the fucking quantum mechanics text book on a Saturday night for fun.

Basically working 60-70 hours a week on this shit has completely killed all my passion and interest for it, and what's worse is that the deeper I go the more I realise how insurmountable the mountain of knowledge is and how if I work like a slave for the rest of my life then maybe, just MAYBE, I might contribute with some minor innovation to some obscure piece of technology that might be mentioned in 2 sentences in a college textbook.

I still feel this compulsion to contribute with something useful to the world but I don't know how now that I don't really see a future in the field I've basically devoted my life to up to this point. I'm pretty good at programming and I like creating apps and other software in my spare time, but I hate programming courses in uni because I couldn't give less of a shit about the projects we're making, I only care about my own personal projects.

Honestly I'm considering graduating with my physics BSc and then leave school forever and start a software business. I'm actually trying to start one right now but it's going super slow due to school workload. But then again I'd feel like I wasn't offering anything of value to the world, I wouldn't be solving any of the big problems. Advice, anyone?
>>
> I don't mind working hard in general, in fact if I get really into something I'll work on it nonstop and sometimes forget to eat lol, but the problem is I'm not getting excited about anything we're learning anymore.

Pushing past the long and boring parts is part of hard work.

Saying you want to achieve some great new technological innovation or start a company without doing lots of boring slog is like saying you want to run a marathon without the gruelling and dull parts in the middle.

I work in finance and have pretty lofty goals but as a result my reading list is almost 100,000 pages and still expanding and I don't necessarily enjoy doing all the study but the choice is between this and mediocrity. You have to make sacrifices and numb yourself to unpleasant things to stand out in the world.

>>18158788
>very prestigious uni
No, it's not. Stop lying to yourself.

Basically you are experiencing a burnout. Lower your workload. Take less courses. Get a hobby. Relax a bit. Masturbate. Meditate.

NEET stands for Not in Employment Education or Training. If you got a degree you weren't NEET.

Anyway 32 with a degree isn't bad at all. If you want a family just start trying to find someone, it's not too late.

I need help with philosophy

If there is freedom of the will, then the universe is:
a. Interdeministic
b. Finite
c. Deterministic
d. Infinite
.none of the above
9 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
I'd say it could be A,C or just none of the above. There is no correct answer with philosophy, you just need to be able to explain the reasoning behind what you think.
>>
>>18158731
There's not really any free will because the universe is deterministic but the illusion is just as good. It changes nothing to think about this. You still have to live life, you still have to make decisions. The ego exists, the thoughts it thinks and the decisions it makes still exist.
>>
>>18158785
I think that really depend on your definition of free will.
Of course, everything you do is a reaction to something that happend in the past. Sure, you can "choose" how to react to most things but you actually only choose a certain reaction because of your learned dispositions and genes.
But to me, exactly this is free will. What else would it be?
Making a decision without any outside influence would be impossible, because you wouldn't know anything.

Just stop acting like how your doing, it's quite obvious to the people surrounding you what you're trying to find. Of course it's going to creep them up.

Just dress normally and go to places your like and have a great time. The people that normally hang there will start to notice you and MIGHT go on to chat. There's no magic wand that's going to make someone hit you with a conversation.

the thing is 95% of guys are too insecure to approach a girl especially if shes really good looking

if your average looking or better you should be the one approaching guys because we are alot less picky than women so even if you arnt our type you probably wont get turned down if they are single

when I was yonger I dated a girl for 2 months just because she just walked up to me and asked if she could kiss me I wasnt even attracted to her but i was single and wanted sex

hi /adv/

I've been dating this guy for 2 1/2 months. We've been trying to have sex but he just can't get hard so I think he's completely given up. He doesn't even let me suck his dick anymore. Even a few days ago, I tried to make out with him but he stopped me. So we have no sexual aspect of our relationship other than plain ol' kissing.

He doesn't pay for my meals anymore, which isn't a super huge deal but it just is another way how I don't really feel like much of his girlfriend. I pay for his meals 1/2 of the time, and I also buy him suprise gifts and do romantic gestures for him. It feels like a one sided relationship and it feels like there is no more romance between us anymore. I think he'd rather us be friends anyway by the signs he's giving me. The thing thay really upset me the most is I have an interview in a couple hours. It's pouring outside and is also around 40 degrees. I have to take the bus there because my sister had to take my car out of town yesterday. I asked him if it was possible if he could give me a ride to my interview but he straight up ignored me. My friends are telling me that he's an asshole. I know it isn't his responsibility to give me rides, but he's doing nothing else right now?

I'm thinking about talking to him about my thoughts tonight. Should I bring up just being friends or keep trying at a relationship?

You should probably ask him if he's stressed out, how he's doing, how's his family; figuring out the source of his more than obvious stress.
>>
>>18158633
It sounds like he's not that into you. Try talking to him about it, but I think you'd be better off dumping him.
>>
>>18158655
This. If this was a healthy relationship, he would put some effort in. And it sounds like you two aren't sexually compatible or he's gay.
