If all girls are different then why does everyone say not to put one on a pedestal? People tell me to go with my heart all the way through and I want pussy like a rabbit wants carrots. I'm also very open about my feelings.
"There's someone for everyone."
Is there really someone who will click with me immediately? Before you say, "Not with that attitude," what if I hit you back with "just be yourself!" That's just who I am...
Out of all the women out there who are my type, will there be one /adv?
what is your type of girl
>>18163187
Busty brunettes.
Specifically, one that will appreciate me for who I am. I want one who's madly in love with me.

Here's another example.
can any lawfags give me some advice? Im thinking about becoming a lawyer, any tips or stories?
>>18163144
what kind of law did you want to practice, and do you have any personal or family connections to lawyers?
Important question: why do you want to be a lawyer?
>>18163151
personally crimimal law facinates me, although environmental cases spark my curiostity too
I'm 18 and have several grand to my name
What should I try and experience before I kill myself?
Big things are out of the question.
>>18163104
go to Amsterdam and Bangkok and get plenty of stds.
>>18163104
try xperiencing the feeling of donating every cent you to have to my needy family. my family will truly be grateful and would build a tribute to you
>>18163104
You should try to experience a full life full of meaning. Try to obtain the experience of raising a family or playing a positive role in the life of somebody younger than you. Try to see what it's like to give something to the world.
I need some advice...
I think I need to be prescribed Vyvanse and Zoloft. do I just straight up tell the shrink I want to be prescribed that or do you think the psychologist will think I'm faking?
the psychologist I want to see specializes in adult add. should I go with him or find another one???
how do I go about telling a shrink I have ADD and anxiety problems?
everytime I am about to call and make an appointment I get severe anxiety and think he will just tell me I'm lieing and the reason I am failing at life is because I am lazy and an underachieving loser
I have wanted to go a Psychologist for about 2 years now but keep putting it off or forgetting about it or basically dialling the number and pussying out and not calling
what have your experiences been like?
and here's a little backstory read it or don't but please help me.
>I'm 21 y/o and I believe I have add as well as anxiety problems
>my father is a big conspiracy theorist infowars believer and thinks all drugs are evil
>I grew up with all the signs and symptoms of ADD
>constantly feel hyper
>constantly being called lazy and an underachiever even though I have always tried
>always trying to do a million things but can't seem to finish one
>constantly being told I was rude and to shut up because I talked to much and interrupted people
>>18163066
>graduated with a 3.7 cuz my friends would just let me copy all their assignments
>got into a decent university
>failed out cuz I always forgot about my assignments and did not fully finish them or just always forgot about going to class
>have been working construction for the last 2 years and went from a ground guy to an installer
>constantly make stupid mistakes or forget to do something stupid
>boss is patient and keeps telling me if I stopped making stupid mistakes and started to talk more he would give me a 3 dollar raise up to 20/hour (I always keep my mouth shut cuz it's just a matter of time before someone tells me to shut up)
>whenever he tries to teach me something new I always forget or fuck it up
>lately I have lost all my friends because I work 70-80 hours a week
>anytime I try to make new friends I get anxious because I know eventually they'll think I'm a lazy loser
>I haven't had a girlfriend since my last one broke up with me senior year because "I talked to much, and was always busy doing nothing" as well as a bunch of other insults about how awful of a person I was and how lazy I am
>now I don't even try and talk to any girls
>I want to go back to college but need to get my mental shit sorted out
>I want to study this time before I retake my SAT (first time I only got a 1680 without studying)
>maybe go to community college for 2 years first
please bros any help tips or stories about how going to the shrink played out for you would be great

Made out with a girl at a party last night
This girl was all over me at a party, eventually we were feeling each other up and making out, and i got her number. I texted her today 2 hours ago, and she hasn't responded, but my friend texted her and she replied to her right away.
What did i do wrong? She was flirting with me the whole night and we made out like 4 times.
>>18163036
You did nothing wrong. It was a party, she was having fun, you were part of the entertainment. She wasn't interested in you in any way more than that. Move on.
>>18163052
Fucking sigh
>>18163036
Attraction fades fast. She might have been into you last night, but by the time she woke up this morning, the party atmosphere was gone, she sobered up of she was drunk or high, and she probably didn't feel like it was worth talking to you. Parties aren't the best places to meet women. It's the easiest. Day game at nice, respectable places are probably better and more suited to a relationship or something that you seem to be more interested in rather than one night flings.
How do I stop being tired all the time?
I sleep almost 12 hours a day. I don't feel like wether or not I take a nap at 3pm is my choice anymore- i feel exhausted.
Am I Ok to feel like punching that smug frog every time I see him?
>>18163051
Do nut bulle frug
He's already depressed
Anyway, is it possible you get too much or too little vitamins a day? Both can make you sleepy. Are you eating enough carbon hydrates?
-Left is seemingly more emotionally attractive / marriage material and looks like she can take care of herself
-Right is more sexually attractive, sweet-looking, and is to be comforted and coddled
Which archetype (I don't even know what word to use) is healthier for me to be in a relationship with? I don't have a shot with either of these girls, but I am just curious as to what type of look is more compatible
>>18162975
It all depends on what kind of person you are. Personally, I'd be bored with "emotionally attractive," or arbitrarily saying someone is "marriage material" because they check a bunch of boxes. More often than not, I feel like we call people marriage material that are boring, like there's some expectation that being boring and safe is ideal as we get older, as opposed to having someone who can share our outlook on life and keep things interesting.
I'm not a "safe" person, so I wouldn't want to marry someone that wanted to spend our days and nights in the house watching TV.
>one girl is literally described as 'marriage material'
>which one is better for a relationship???
Are you an actual retard?
>>18162994
what can I say, I'm a nurturing soul and right looks like she could use a hand

>Want to have even a bit of own personal savings
>Can't get a job because I live in a shithole place (Not from USA)
>Can't move out because parents
>Really need to save atleast a few bucks
So I am considering those "online surveys for money" or "solve captcha for money" things. Which ones are legit and which ones are scams? Anyone have some experience with these? Tips? Anything?
>>18162958
Bump
>>18162958
Plenty of legit survey sites, just look up reviews. They're horribly boring though and I hated giving my name, address, email and phone number to hundreds of bullshit companies.
Just look up ways to work online.

You will probably find that any worthwhile opportunity requires a valuable skill, like writing or web development. Good luck!

Thanks, can you name atleast one of the legit survey sites?
Does the social "Hierarchy" exist?
Does there exist an invisible ladder/caste system?
Does everything amount to a convoluted game that most people do not realize they are playing?
>>18162943
>Does the social "Hierarchy" exist?
Yes, some culture even made it pretty clear like in Hindu.
>Does there exist an invisible ladder/caste system?
Yes, It's not really invisible it works like a tribe, but on bigger scale. Learn how the tribe works.
Imagine humanity consisted on many tribes and it's become a complicated mess with red tapes, and things connecting all tribies from all territories.
Remember we human no matter how advanced we are still have preference on forming a tribe and being alpha/beta/omega. Even the small and 'nerdy' thing as forming a video game club is akin to forming a tribe.
Yes of course.
Looks > money > status
>>18163044
Even if it were that simple, looks would not be at the top.
Where should I move to /adv/? And why?
>>18162932
That's a personal question and we don't know your circumstances (career, what climate you like, etc.)'
Not Missouri
>Why
because it's where young folks dreams go to die.
Well, that applies to basically all of the midwest. They lure you in with that cheap cost of living and then you're stuck in their trap forever because you'll get too comfy having all nice things and big house that downgrading for a more fun area seems too shitty.
>>18162938
I work in IT and like cool - warm weather. I prefer rain but I'm not picky. Just interested in y'alls input. I'm interested in being in a bigger city again. I just moved back from Austin, Texas
How do i get rid of them?
>>18162923
Bag of frozen peas
>>18162929
For how long and how often? When will i see results?
Just did it for 5 mins btw.
Why does PTSD make people so angry?
I've seen people I went to HS with and even my own brother go off to war and come back very bitter, short tempered, and angry all the time.
Why?
Do they not see a value in life anymore? Are they angry they had to take a life? Are they angry their emotions bother them?
>>18162921
I think it comes down to lack of control. War or traumatizing events show you how little control you actually have so many overcompensate the other way in a futile attempt to prevent bad things from happening again. Personally, if I can't control something (messy partner, traffic, weather) I get irritated. If it's something important to me, I get outright pissed off. I am not sure how to fix other than ascribing to some numale Buddhist bullshit.
A lot of the time, PTSD in men manifests as anger because there aren't as many outlets for them. Guys are oftentimes considered weak or girly or whatever other bullshit term if they cry or "act traumatized". It's a redirection of the pain and the sorrow and the hopelessness and the fear. PTSD means that you no longer feel safe in a safe place, and depending on the person and the environment around them, this can manifest in many ways.
I think it's just the easiest way to let out the buildup of emotions? The trauma makes people have a flight or fight response.
My friend had PTSD since he was a child and he gets really violent. He doesn't want to take it out on other people so he keeps hitting things, his hand is permanently broken now and it just keeps getting worse
i am a girl and i used to masturbate with water under the shower sometimes.
recently, i met a guy and i think, i love him, i am attracted to him sexually, but i can't get an orgasm when he does sth to me. what should i do? i don't want him to think i am not sexually attracted to him and his body
>>18162905
What all have you and the guy tried? How long have you been having sex?
we haven't had sex yet. i am still a virgin, he only tied licking my vagina and working with his fingers
>>18162942
I would say to not put pressure on yourself to have an orgasm. Orgasms aren't how you prove you're sexually attracted to the guy. For lots of chicks, it takes time for your mind and your body itself to get used to being with someone, especially if you've never been with anyone else before. Be patient and kind with yourself, and let the orgasm happen when it happens
I'm going on the first date since high school (~4 years ago) and need a couple of quick pointers.
It's the coffee date I've made, all others have been bowling, movies, ice skating etc.
When I show up, should I get my coffee and wait at a table? Should I wait before ordering?
Also how do I make sure not to turn it into an interview and ask her a million questions?
This is my first "adult" date so I have nothing to work with, every other date before this was with someone I met from school or work.
Not really nervous just a little unsure, if that makes sense.
>>18162903
Forgot to ask: do I pay for her coffee? and do we hug when meeting or leaving?
I'm 23 by the way, I feel hugging is a little weird but what do I know
>>18162903
There are no rules, it's all up to people involved and what feels good. Generally though it's more acceptable to get your drinks at the same time. You can offer to pay, she might like that, but if she'd prefer to pay herself, then don't push it. Hug if you feel comfortable doing it. Don't just ask questions, also offer information about yourself. Tell anecdotes that relate to the topic you're discussing, remember what she says and build on from those topics, even if she doesn't ask specific questions reveal details similar to what she's revealed (I.e. If you talk about family and she tells about hers, then tell something about yours too, even if she doesn't ask). The point is to get to know each other. Both should leave the date having something of an understanding who the other is and what they value in life. If you have similar views, there will be other date. If you don't have much in common or if one of you fails to reveal the relevant info to form an opinion, there probably won't be another date.
>>18162903
You're overthinking this op. It's just a date. Stop worrying about it and enjoy the experience. But if you want to know..
>should I get my coffee and wait at a table? Should I wait before ordering?
no. Just wait outside for her so when she comes you can open the door for her to show you're a gentleman. Buy her a coffee. It's like 3 bucks. She's going to see that you got your shit together and don't mind paying. In the long run, it's for the better.
>Also how do I make sure not to turn it into an interview and ask her a million questions?
Don't ask her interview questions, make interview statements.
Make assumptions.
>You seem like the type of girl who enjoys traveling
>You're in good shape, how often do you work out?
>We should definitely try ____ together
>We're going to the movies after this
Just let the conversation flow. If it feels like an interview, tell her and change the subject to something you want to talk about.
> I feel hugging is a little weird but what do I know
Hugging is not weird. Jesus man, do you know about body language and physical touch? Women love that shit. ou want to be touching her as much as possible..
>Giving her a HUG when you first see her
>Touching her lower back walking into the coffee shop
>tapping her on the shoulder or forearm when you want to ask a question..
I'd highly recommend getting books on body language and reading the book, "Models: Attracting women with honesty by Mark Manson. I try and read it every year for a refresher. It changed my life for the better.
Good luck dude.
And remember, it's just a date. Have fun.
Can it be better to live a "pure" aka degeneracy free lifestyle (no drugs, no porn, no video games, no social media, no homosexuality, consistently going outside, "actual" hobbies, exercising, no fast food, etc.)?
God, that sounds boring.
Maybe. I wouldn't know, although I idealize that lifestyle too.
First ask yourself: Do you like any of those things you've listed already?
>Yes
No.
>No
yes.
