20yo male here and I've never had a gf in my life but I managed to make out with a few girls here and there and I always get to admire them and wish the best of them but I cannot seem to make anyone interested in me romantically? What's wrong with me? Am I just too ugly to deserve affection? I just want to be able to love someone and be loved back.

If you want to find someone who will love you, it's best to first pursue your passions. Whatever your hobbies and interests are, there's bound to be classes/meet ups/places to go where you can interact with people of similar kind. It's easier to be with someone you have things in common with. It's easier to fall in love when you share similar goals. Nobody is too ugly to love, even ugly people are steadily reproducing

My mom and dad had a really serious fight. my mom is under the belief that my dad is using her for her money and doesnt actually love her. My parents (mom) bought a house and now my mom thinks he just used her to get the house. My mom has always been alluding that shes going to die soon, but we figured that it was just her lack of optimism showing again.
This morning they were arguing and it was normal how they were arguing, but my dad walked away from it and my mom followed and tried hitting him and they fell on the floor. I pulled them off each other and told them to relax but their body language stayed the same so I had to stay with them and listen to them argue to make sure my 5'11 dad didnt fucking murder my 5'0 foot mom.
theyre arguing still, my dad lunged at my mom and I wrapped him up with my arms and pulled him as far away as I could to keep him away from my mom. as theyre fighting my dad tells my mom that his aunt died, and he was in a bad mood because of it. My dad argued that my mom didnt care at all, and that she never cares about him in the first place. This made my dad really emotional, now bawling crying and covered in tears, but he cried for a small second. This already made me feel bad and I didnt know what to do with my emotions, but my mom said "After all this time of me saying I feel like im going to die soon, youve never asked once why I feel like its true. Because I found out a while ago I HAVE CANCER."
Now I dont know what to believe. Is my dad actually a piece of shit? my dad stepped out of the house but the car is still in the driveway. I dont know what to do in this situation. my mom is probably going to pass away soon.

I'm a guy in my 20s, straight, 2 sons, high-paying job doing high-end finish carpentry for a well respected contractor, have built my own house, own 3 kinds of livestock and several dogs and cats. I also am involved in animal rescue, and salvaging lumber from demolished buildings.
And I'm a misogynist.
Not by choice but by circumstance. I live in an isolated rural small town that I'm stuck in/can't move out of, and literally every female that has ever been involved in my life has been signifigantly:

Whether they're my mom, my family, every girlfriend I've ever had, every girlfriend's family, teachers and classmates in school from k to college, coworkers, you name it. I have 0 female friends. Men in my area are not as fucked up as women and if they are, they tend to have much better self control and don't try drag everybody else down like women do. In my opinion, the sexual revolution/feminism is a major factor in what caused most women (at least in my area) to become entitled and empty, I feel that pre-1960s, women were much more stable on average and had more mutually beneficial relationships with men. I don't doubt that there's women out there that are productive, great people; so if any females are reading this, I don't hate/dislike YOU... just every one I've ever dealt with.
Ask me anything! I have babymamadrama and crazy ex gf stories that will turn your hair white, and there's nothing you can say that will raise my opinion on women in general, although it might be fun to try

Hey /adv/, I have a below average intelligence and to make matters worse, I'm pretty much socially retarded. Among my family member of successful person, I am the only one that is a failure of a fat useless slob who doesn't even know how to earn money at my age (almost 27). I know I don't deserve offspring to pass down my shitty genes and my inferiority so I don't think I need any kind of partner in my lifetime, but can /adv/ at least tell me how do I make myself smart, wise, intelligent, or anything that will improve my cognitive skills? I dont know how to fix depression yet. I haven't tried medication aside for other reasons, but sometimes side effects were so bad I never want to try again.

So I have two good friends in the world, and one (let's caller Amy) has a bf and the other is a lesbian (I'll call her Stella). The other night, they slept together (at my house, which is shitty in and of itself). I really like Amy's bf, he's a really great guy and doesn't deserve to be cheated on.
I confronted them about it and Amy thinks that it doesn't count if it's a girl and not a guy. We had a big argument about it. I am honestly at a loss for what to do. On the one hand, I don't like getting involved in my friends' drama as there has always been a lot of it and it's never ended well (I'm the quiet, sensible, "clever" one). But on the other, it seems very wrong and I think the guy Amy is dating deserves better or at least, to know. Stella, for her part, is a bit of an SJW and hates men, and thinks he deserves it.
What should I do?

For what it's worth, I think you should tell him - cheating is shitty, and as for minding your own business, that ship has sailed. They made it your business when they did it in your fucking house. And as far as I'm concerned, you never, ever have an obligation to lie for anyone, even by omission. So I say tell the poor guy.
But understand that if you do, you're going to lose friends.

I met my first gf a month ago in a compilers class. We both study CS. She's a 9/10 and I'm a 6/10 at best.

But he might tell you it is a common effect to have to pee right after sex, as the blockage of the urine channel to allow for ejaculation is relaxed. It might be just a matter of getting up to pee right after sex, or at least before you fall asleep. Girlfriend is sad.
Now that alone isn't defcon level but it's one of many issues. She's not,statisticaly speaking, the most normal gf I've had. Mental health issues are, so far, Body Disfigurment disorder (nothing is actually disfigured in any way actually a qt3.14) and selective mutism. She covers her face constantly, going through checkouts is an interesting experience. Small store owners are constantly worried she's a thief, which is ironic cause the last gf was a clepto with a very loud sense of style. She's emotionally abusive, sometimes physical. I never hold it against her though, I know it's due in part to her previous family life. But tonight has me worried. By all accounts it was a good night, we went for a late night walk, enjoying each other. Watched Army of Darkness, had a drink. Then she just shut down, currently hiding in bed.
In conclusion, I'm not sure what else I can do. I never treat her as someone different, love her always. But i don't know if that's enough. What more can I do?

Sometimes I have trouble verbalizing, and my boyfriend's been learning and trying to teach me sign language, though I mostly just use house signs so far. Hey /adv/, I have a problem that's threatening to ruin a great relationship.
My girlfriend is on the pill but still, insists on having sex with a condom. This is not because of STDs (we've been together for a few months), but because oral contraceptives are generally only 91% effective at preventing pregnancy over a year.

/adv/ does anyone have experience balancing being a father, working 30-ish hours a week (nights), and going to university full time?
I'm a good student but since my daughter was born 2 months ago I have very little time for school work and my job. Thankfully my wife does a great job with our daughter but I can't expect her to do all the parenting duties, so I help a lot. I don't want my wife to resent me and unfortunately at the same time I simply - need - to be alone to do work.
fwiw I'm going to uni for infosec. All my classes are online this quarter but I plan to return to in-class sessions in the Fall when my daughter is a little older. Thankfully my bills aren't too high; rent, car insurance, food, phone. Schooling is paid for because I was laid off my last job.
