I think it's pretty rare for someone to think of themselves as unattractive in the sense that no-one is attracted to them, which is what I assume you're talking about.

I've known one such person, and honestly, she had good reason. She's a decent enough person, but actually unpleasant to look at. Basically a sphere with a face most charitably described as crude. Piss-poor complexion, tatty hair, the complete package.

Her appearance became an obsession bordering on mental illness as man after man turned her down after she'd had enough of waiting around for love to come knocking. Last I heard, she drank herself into oblivion and alienated everyone who cared about her. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that she was dead, to be honest.

For most people there's more to life than looks, but up to a certain point they're pretty damn important.

Depends. If you have a skill or talent for creating things, I'd look at rolling some excess money into purchasing supplies to try and turn a profit by selling finished works online.

Chances are though that you ought to enhance your existing skillset. You could potentially earn more if you knew things like

quickbooks
Social media management
Powerpoint
Network security
Computer repair

So it's up to you. Think long term. Are you gonna earn more money doing short term piddly shit or will a longterm investment pay off 3 or 4x as much

You can revoke that permission to share that info (if you're in the US). When you go, sign new HIPPA forms telling the doctor you don't give permission to release the data to anyone but the insurance company for payment. Outside the US, not sure how it works.

I have a real bad Dandruff issue too. I first didn't get is solved until I saw a dermatologist. But after the shampoo ran out it just came back. The ONLY off the shelf shampoo Ive been able to get to work is Selsun Blue with Menthol.

I have pretty good networks. A few of my friends put me down as referrals for some big companies. One kid who's working for one of the big dick companies, who I used to do homework for (he went to a top 5 school for CS), is trying to get me in when I'm done with college.

I would say I have roughly 4-5 reliable contacts that can hook me up with the interviews, and like 5 that might lead me into one. The finding a job related to CS at my school is pretty high, especially within my city (something like 75% find work within the first 6 months, 85% find within the year)

Set up a couple interviews. Do it at places you don't like, maybe not even really qualified for. Why?

1. Gets parents off your back
2. Most important - gets you some interview experience.

Then, once you are done with school you have a little experience and you can start hitting the jobs you really want.

You could also look into internships. No money, perhaps, but again - this takes care of 1 and 2 above. With the experience part in either interviews or internship being the most important of the two.

Finally, talk to your parents. Let them know you have a solid GPA and you want to position yourself for the future. Let them know a job is really important to you and you are making an effort to set up your life.

Distance yourself from her. I had a friend who never appreciated me either and I seriously don't regret cutting her out of my life.

And my other friend only talked to the ex to ask her a question and my friend got pissed about that and passive aggressively kept tweeting about my friend for weeks and lied about it to her, but her boyfriend confirmed the tweets were about my friend.

Still - work is demanding, you can't really choose when you go on holiday (work is seasonal) but it is relatively secure.

You can probably get a decent job with Monsanto or something

General rule I follow is search for your degree on indeed or monster and see if anything good comes up for it. If not, it's maybe not a good idea
