Hey /adv/
So, I really love my girlfriend and want to spend my life with her, but she's been chasing some dude 3k miles away who she can realistically never be with. Shes a few years younger than me and pretty immature and has never been with anyone except for me. She claims she doesnt feel for me romantically anymore, which I understand since it's been 4 years together and we have put 0 effort into maintaining the romance, but it seems like the real problem is she wants to explore if other people are any better than me before "settling down" with me. Initially I told her crushes are normal and she needs to learn to manage them, but she hasn't managed it well at all and is on the bleeding edge of practically LDR with him in all but title (and lack of overt sexuality due to being in a relationship with me). I can feel her actively becoming less my girlfriend and treating me more as just a friend. I am acutely aware that what she's doing is trying out another boy emotionally and keeping me on the side incase it doesn't work out.
I am not okay with this, obviously. I feel like then that she needs some space to grow up and/or realize she's fucking stupid, I need some space to reevaluate and maybe meet new people myself. Im afraid of being alone and not having anyone, I'm also afraid of irreparably ruining things between us as if things work out I'd really be down for getting back together 1-3 months down the road.
I just don't really KNOW how to break up with someone.

My roommate is a disrespectful tool. I wake up after 4 hours of sleep and trap music is blaring on his $300 bluetooth speaker. I come out of my room. all of the garbage in the house is thrown on a big pile where i sit. random wrappers, junk mail, the old neighbors mail we still randomly get, just random shit that isnt even mine. On top of it is some of my actual stuff i had sitting on the table, my keys, my raver gloves (one of which is missing now), a cribbage board and a deck of cards that now has cards missing. None of this is anything new.
I could go on and on but you get the picture.
I deliver pizza so I make no money. I lost my apprenticeship because I spent a night in jail and missed my shift (I blew .04 and was a passenger in the car, im on papers and cant drink). I cant come up with money for a security deposit. I dont know anyone renting a room. If I did, theyd most likely be a druggy, which I can't have, im on probation and they occassionally do house visits and certainly would if I moved. I could find a place easily if I lived in the county over, but I cant move out of the county.
Everyone I know is either a loser that lives with their parents, on drugs, or has a legitimate relationship and career and is moving on with their lives. I cant find good work in manufacturing paying more than $11-12 an hour, I have no skills really, I have no college degrees. I'm getting out of a 6 year druggy phase and have been sober since i got on probation, and its really hard finding my way. Even if I wanted my own place, couldnt prove to the landlord that I had solid work because I get paid under the table.
Man, I am so fucked.

tl;dr I need opinions on what I should do about my sick cat.

Here's the thing that makes it hard, the whole family is going abroad on saturday for 2 weeks. I tried to change the tickets so that I would leave later on but there isn't any more available the coming week, also if I don't check in on my outgoing flight my home flight is invalid for some reason. The reason I mention money is because it comes down to my mom to pay and she has refused, I think she is tired of the ordeal and doesn't think it is worth it considering he might pass away in a few months.
My aunt was supposed to come up and feed him while we were away. I suggested that we could ask her to look over him the following days, and if he doesn't show any signs of recovery, let him go. But we would have to put that responsibility on my aunt and it's a hard one to bare and inconsiderate to ask.

Let me tell you this, m8. I was in a similar position, watching my cat waste away, about the same age. I spent hundreds on top of hundreds of dollars and the vet never did a fucking thing. In hindsight, I should have kept her home and loved her instead of letting them mandhandle her and xray her, and do all that shit to her that she hated just so she could live in pain another extra few days.
Fuck that shit. I'm not saying the vet isn't necessary. Her daughter had cancer, and surgery added years to her life, but in some cases, the vet is a literal money sink, taking advantage of your feelings to do every imaginable test under the sun, when the cat is just too old and wore out, like an old person, just enjoying the time they have left, you know?
