How do i get over my irrational hatred of weed.
All my life i have been surrounded by people who have gotten into smoking weed and have turned into the most obnoxiously intolerable pieces of shit to ever walk the earth, because of this i have linked weed with stoners and stoners with absolutely miserable people to be around, leading me to believe that anyone who smokes weed is a complete degenerate stoner.
now, i know this isn't rational, hence the title, but whenever someone i know tells me they smoked weed i inwardly recoil in disgust and immediately look at them as more of a fucking loser than i did previously, but i don't like being this judgemental, as i know that not EVERYONE who smokes weed becomes a fucking stoner, but the irrational part of my brain still keeps me in that mind set.
i have never smoked it before, but i'm not saying i hate weed as in the actual experience of it, i'm saying i hate weed as in the dude weed lmao culture that i irrationally pigeon hole everyone who smokes to be a part of.

Think of it like alcohol. They're both mind-altering substances; when used in excess they have detrimental effects (alcohol being the worst of the two). Stoners are basically alcoholics, the difference being the former is a psychological addiction and the latter is a mix of that and physiological.
Neither of these substances are bad when used responsibly and in moderation. There's nothing wrong with having a beer every now and then, right? Same thing with smoking an occasional joint. They can both also be social activities, which again, there is nothing wrong with in moderation.

I had it in elementary/highschool because most people smoking that young were total faggots about it, but lost it over the years (im 30) because ive met more solid people who smoke weed.
My two very best friends are huge potheads. Both super cool mature responsible hard working human beings. One makes 6 figures doing marketing for a record label, the other is a PhD chemist and does science stuff i cant pronounce or understand full time and hes a professor.
Both smoke weed erry damn night.

I struggle to find a man whose values align with mine.
I am not interested in casual dating/hooking up. I don't drink excessively, don't do drugs. I am mostly reserved and modest, working on my career and have my shit together, and would like to be with someone similarly motivated and responsible.
I've met very few people who weren't into hooking up and partying, but they are all excessively traditional and overbearing. Some of them mentioned how distasteful it is for a taken girl to hang out with her friends without her boyfriend, some others expressed that they wouldn't be fine with me having male friends, or mentioned how a they'd want me to become a housewife and such.
It seems like it's either one extreme or the other.
Are there other people who feel similarly? How do I find them?

Hi, so I am curious what u guys think of this situation.
I asked out this girl (japanese) a little while ago. We were fairly good friends and I was actually pretty confident she liked me back. but instead she rejected me.
a month and a half on we are talking again like before I did that. we even talk about things like family in the future. I just got my grades for this semester and haven't stopped crying since. Academics were the only thing I had. Now I have nothing.
I have no family, no real friends, no hobbies, nothing... I'm a worthless piece of shit and there's no point in going on living.
I've always wanted to kill myself, ever since I was like 4 I remember dreaming of suicide. But I always trying to rationalize that even if life is shit might as well stick around out of curiosity. But as the years have passed it just keeps getting worse, to the point that living is an exercise in masochism.
Even tried doing the whole leave everything behind and travel. Guess what, no matter how far you run you are still stuck with yourself and your misery.
So here I am crying like a little bitch, trying to reach out to the only people that might get it because there is no real life out there for me. How fucking pathetic. Just that should be a clue suicide is the only option.
What's the point? Living day to day in a shitty job you hate just to pay bills. being a slave... is there anything more to this horrible world? Fuck it, I just want out.

when i was a kid, i was schizophrenic. I hallucinated very often, and i was very delusional. and when i turned like 10 or something they stopped for the most part, not happening often enough or intense enough to consider myself schizo.
recently, ive dropped a very unhealthy amount of 25i, and not only am i stuck on a permanent trip, the hallucinations that i had when i was a kid have since come back. im wise enough now to know that they arent real, but they are pretty annoying and i find them quite disturbing sometimes.
should i be concerned? technically ive always been schizophrenic, and nothings really new to me, but i actually do feel like im going insane. im not sure how much i can take of this.

Schizophrenia symptoms don't really show up until you're at least into your teens, and I've never heard of them going away on their own. I don't think it was schizophrenia. Perhaps you were having sleep terrors or you have some sort of dissociative personality disorder.
Find a good therapist, not just a rando, but one that you can really trust and feel comfortable around. Maybe medication is in order and they can direct you toward a psychiatrist, but at the very least, talk therapy is a good idea.

Will I get in trouble just for hanging around a 14 year old girl in public? I live in a crappy apartment in a poor neighborhood to save some money and my neighbor is a single mom with a 14 year old daughter. They seem to be quite poor so I'd give them extras of dinner of made and I've done various things for them like help fix things and take them places since they don't have a car.
Her daughter seems quite fond of me. She comes hang out at my apartment everyday and often stays here all day on weekends. Her mom is completely okay with this.
It's her birthday coming up so I wanted to do something nice for her. I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she told me she wanted me to take her somewhere nice. I asked her if she was interested in anything in particular and she said no but she wants me to take her.
I don't mind doing this but I can't help but be somewhat concerned. I asked her mom for permission and asked her to come along, she said she was okay with me taking her but she herself didn't want to go for health reasons and told me to make her birthday nice since she's unable to. I'm slightly concerned, I'll be pretty much spending the day alone with her. She's kind of a clingy little girl, she's always touching me when we're together. Wouldn't that look very bad for a grown man to be alone with a 14 year old? Do you think the cops will be called on me? Will I go to jail just for being in her presence?
