Just finished having a conversation with a good friend i block from whatsapp. I unblocked him because it felt stupid not telling him why. we spoke just now and i told him it's because i felt as if im in a contract with him being his friend and hanging aroung him. I was done with if for like 2 years ago but now i told him. The friendship was done already don't know why i didnt told him sooner, but i did now. I did good right? I cant be hanging around with a person and feel like him problems are mine problem and im not thinking straight because of this to. Im only 23 and i want to work on myself but i cant have him around me because its to much pressure with my own demons i got to slay. I did good right.

Now it's been 3 weeks, I haven't picked a bodyshop, cause I have to somehow get a fucking check from them instead. How long can I wait? I seriously fucking hate this, my car looks horrible and when I drive it seems like people are gonna think I got in the accident myself, when I wasn't even in my car at the time of the accident.
I don't even know what to do anymore. I just feel overwhelmed, I don't know how to make the insurance guy give the "ok" for a check on this. I just want my fucking door fixed, I don't give a god damn fuck about pocketing an extra $500 or any amount. I wish my car never got it.
It's been 3 weeks now since the insurance guy last called to ask if I picked a shop yet.

Depends, there are a lot of subjects you can learn on your own if you have the dedication to do it but of you want to get a job in the area it is beneficial to have a degree, it really depends on the specific degree

So...I have a resting bitch face. My lips seem to naturally curl downward--like gravity itself weighs them down. Sometimes I feel so unwell and socially anxious that honestly even if I try to lift up my frown, the muscles just won't freakin cooperate with me. I forget how to smile.
People comment my problem often--telling me to smile, asking me what's wrong. Am I more sick of it or ashamed of myself? I honestly don't know.
Of course I sought help, and was surprised to hear from my therapist that I look more disconnected than simply intimidating...yeah, I know. I must be a mega autist or something. But, nonetheless, I know I can improve.

I got an eye infection, likely pink eye.
Eyelids are red and swollen.
Slow yellow build up, I get random tears just rolling down.
Eye feels dry, and it gets really ichy.
2 days until doctors appointment.
How do I relieve the itchy / annoying feeling?
How do I stop my vision from being cloudy on the eye too?

Wipe the eye goo gently with a wet tissue or cotton ball, then throw it away. Wash your hands a lot so you don't spread it. To help with itching, cold or warm compresses (washcloth/towel with warm/cold water in it) can help. If your vision gets cloudier than it should given swelling and goo, let your doctor know. Some over the counter eye drops can also help (eg artificial tears, eye lubricant drops). Don't forget to wash your hands a lot and if you use a wet towel to use a new clean one every day.

I've struggled with depression for most of my life and don't like myself enough to live for my own happiness. I want to help people in hard times, that's the only time I feel fulfilled. The closest I've come to doing this is giving advice here on this board. What can I do in real life in this capacity? I'm particularly interested in helping those with mental illnesses because I have personal experience of that.

In Australia we have a charity called lifeline which is a 24 hour call centre which is staffed by counsellors. People dial lifeline when they're suicidal or lonely. You do a $500 course to become a volunteer phone counsellor. If you're American you can become a volunteer EMT though.

Okay so I have this long time video game buddy. Never met him in real life. Well he goes silent for a nearly a week which isn't like him at all. Yesterday I get a message from someone claiming to be his brother saying that he died.
The message resembled my friend's spelling. He's god awful at spelling and no he's not a little kid he's 31 and got a wife.
We knew the name of his state and town and we googled around. There were no deaths in the news.
Fastword to tonight. My other buddy got a message from the brother saying that they were murdered and the house was set on fire.
Googled that and no reports of an arson that killed two people came up.
It really doesn't seem like his style to lie like this and I owed him grind quests in the video game.
Should I call the police in his county or the fire marshall just to get proof?
Is he lying to me or this just something to forget about?

Talked to a crush but she said she couldn't meet me that exact weekend (I live far from here but visit on vacations) wished each other a good summer etc. overall nice chat for two people who have not really talked irl much if not at all
Then I see her on the street with a bunch of her street and I was too shy to approach her. But did I do the right thing? Going there all alone would have just made me appear desperate and clingy especially since we texted the same day.
