In my personal case I just let my exes think themselves into a concusion and then they text me. If I try to understand their concusion journey I'll get dragged along with them and I don't know of any man who can out mental breakdown a woman.

This makes a lot of sense to me. I've been to a couple conventions before with a friend, and it was a blast. I guess it's never occurred to me before I could keep going to these things.

The ego/pride thing I've only recently figured out unfortunately. Another friend of mine told me I seem to talk down to people when I speak. I wasn't even aware I was doing it, so now I'm trying to keep it in check.

I'd say do what interests you, but be realistic.

I'm going to get my doctorate in clinical psychology, and I plan on doing private therapy. Essentially, I would only be making an above average salary, but 6 figures is completely possible with enough experience/time.

I have about 6-8 years of graduate school, but depending on the school you go to, most of your tuition (for students in PhD programs) gets waived. I thought up this game plan a while ago and I've had my eyes on the prize ever since.

Research each field yourself a bit before you make a decision like this. Don't necessarily pick one field over another because "lol I'll be making BANK nigga", but do not completely rule out the financial aspect either.

Weigh up your options. Look at the pluses and the minuses. Not every option is going to be perfect. Look at them with no emotion involved and then make a logical decision that best suits you.
Once you've made a decision; commit to it. There's no telling whether it was the right or wrong one until you take it, but at least you moved forward instead of being stuck in the same place forever.
