How can I join in the war effort?
How do I ask a girl to be my girlfriend? asking for a friend
>>18489655
>go outside
>ask girl to be gf
>she says yes
>you have no money
>she dump you
>go back inside
>fuck your right hand
ez as 1 2 3
How do you know when to break up with your girlfriend. I'm 19, and I've been with my first girlfriend for almost five months. I still love her, but so much has happened between us. I just feel it would be better if we stop seeing each other. She's going to go back to school soon, and she'll be busy Monday-Friday. We'll only get to see each other twice a week. Since we've been with each other, we see each other really frequent. I just don't know how I feel. There's moments where I love her, and then other moments where I hate her.
>>18489649
>I still lover her but...
No you don't
just break it off and pursue the bachelor life you so clearly desire faggot. There is no good time to break up with someone. Fucking do it upfront, in person and be respectful about it. Answer her futile questions honestly and live with the thought you were given a relationship and threw it away so now you'll just die alone and browsing r9k
I don't know where else to put this
have you ever had your girlfriend want sex but you didn't want to, not for any particular reason other than you just don't feel like it, and she get personally affronted by it?
I don't know what's up, I just didn't feel like having sex and she got upset at me.
>>18489613
yeah, man, that's common. I think guys feel a pressure to be down to fuck any time, any place, but that's not reality. Sometimes you just aren't in the mood for sex, and that's okay, just tell her that. Offer to go down on her instead or something, if you feel like you need to. She's pretty damn unreasonable if she thinks you should be DTF at her whim.
>>18489622
pretty much this
if she has rejected your advances remind her of that. If she plays the "Oh really? When?" card then ask her on what date was the 4th time you guys had sex. You shouldn't have to remember a fucking date to justify how you feel m8
*end projection*

stay firm and say no
or do some drugs
prolly the no thing tho
Does anyone here have Lupus? What's it like? When did you get diagnosed, and how? What treatment did you get, and did it help?
Doctors are worried I've got this and I'm completely at a loss.
It's good you caught it, dude.Good luck.
It's not lupus. It's never lupus
>>18489612
They're not completely sure I've got it yet. I could just have a combination of idiopathic hypersomnia, hypothyroidism, and fibromyalgia, which is what I've currently rolled with as my conditions.
My doctor saw that they could connect via Lupus, though, and I do have a mild butterfly rash.
I'm pretty much done with school. I have three more classes to take, one is over the summer and then two in the upcoming semester (both are electives). The problem is I also want to work (CS major), but I'm not sure if I can handle the stress of managing a job while also doing school, even if it's only 2 classes. Is this possible? Is it possible to get a job and then either get less hours or take work off for a few months? I've been getting offers, but I've been hesitant to accept any just because of this.
>>18489586
When you're applying for jobs, just be up-front about your commitments and your schedule. You'll probably want to look for part-time or freelance work until you're through with school

Thanks, it's kind of awkward when I'm talking to interviewers and they find out I haven't finished my degree even though it's for mundane stuff.
>be neet
>decide to change life
>get job at grocery store
>have to take bus at bad city
>save up enough to finally buy a car
>1997 Saturn SL2
>6 months later the timing chain gets messed up
>mechanic wants $800 to fix
I honestly don't know what to do. My guess is that I'm just gonna have to save up the money again.
Put money aside for a better car. Or find a family member who could fix way cheaper for you. Repairs are gonna add up and the money can just go to a better car. Look at other forms of transportation also.
Part of owning a car is having the income to repair it and maintain it.
Also $800 seems really high, I got my clutch plate replaced for $700 and that involves taking the whole engine block out.
A new car is cheaper in the long run, if you keep it for over ten years. Buy a small car with a small engine that is cheap to run. No optional extras. None. Until you have cash saved up for it, just take the bus.
If you are going to operate an old car (anything over 15 years is old) then you need to learn to fix it yourself. Get a repair manual and some good tools.
Hey advice. Little problem here.
Moved with my baby mama a few months ago and she has been very tough on occasion. She's inviting her old friends over constantly which is fine. The problem is I will get told my family cannot come over and ive lost all my friends too because she pretty much requires all my attention and compliance. Really I would be better alone in some ways and in some ways not she'll be much worse when she's not using me. Been called all names today and she has let her two gay friends stay over tonight even though I said I don't want them to. So yeah what do, she's on the lease even though hasn't had a job in her life she thinks $300 of food stamps a month is paying for her half. Getting fuckin mad. probably won't look at this cus I'm so damn screwed. She's a cunt, I should just move
>Moved with my baby mama
Wait, you mean, for real? You impregnated that person?

you are getting played hard.
and if you knocked her up, they can throw you in jail if you leave and dont pay child support.
But hey, she wont change and you either arent the first or wont be the last guy she does this to.
On this 4th of July in South Florida, I got a pretty bad sun burn on my knees. I don't recall specifically putting sunblock on there, but I do remember putting some on my legs. The strange part is it's causing me joint pain in my kneecaps, and they hurt when I bend down, walk, or even when I'm just sitting still.
What do I do, and am I going to be fine or is this some sort of disease? Pic related it's my knees. Thanks in advance.
get some sort of after sun lotion, preferably aloe vera, that shit is magic, and slather it all over your ugly legs dude. don't wait.
>>18489518
Aloe Vera is a great option, but does it heal the joint pain? The sunburn doesn't bother me as much as the joint pain does.
>>18489509
Don't bend your knees and your joints will be fine.
So I get really possessive over my friends and It bothers them, for example if I'm going to a lecture with a friend and they dont sit next to me I'll start making vague passive aggressive remarks for the next few days until I get over it, I seriously think I have the emotional maturity of a child, what do guys? is it Fixable or just a part of my personality?
>>18489493
1. recognize that it's a problem
2. make an effort to stop expressing those feelings
3. the feelings will eventually fade
I have maybe 200-300$ in the bank right now, and make 350-400$ weekly. I also have a healthy 401k that if taken out now would grant me around 100k after penalties & taxes. Any advice on how to better my week-by-week bank account amounts instead of pulling out the 401k money and losing what I've worked hard to save up? I'd love to buy a Passport and travel the world, but I know I can't do it with a weekly 400$ paycheck.
>>18489468
well without knowing your expenses we can't rightly tell you what to save on. but at the end of the day it sounds like oyu're looking for a loophole, to maintain your lifestyle as is, without changing jobs but somehow saving more money.
not really a thing. me i only make 1500 a month. but i manage to save 300 a month by minimizing my expenses. i have a nice property and can sublet my spare room. it comes at the price of my privacy, but hey, as far as prices go this ones not bad.
I will refer you to this youtubechannel which covers everything about your personal finances that you could imagine.

So being a virgin and all I don't know what girls want, recently got a gf
while we were chilling in her family pool at the middle of the night, I pulled out my erect penis (8") and put it inside her swimsuit while we made out.
She started tugging on it and I came quickly
does she think I'm weird now?
we sorta just got out and went to her room n slept
Why is it that a disproportionately large amount of men with disproportionately large penises have a hard time getting laid?
It's a serious question. What causes this?
Is it because they feel that they don't need to put in any effort because they are blessed with a big penis and that's all that should matter? That's the only idea I can think of, but anybody who had a different theory is welcome to reply to this.

OP again
It's even worse when you have a car/you're own place/very nice and tidy/love to cuddle/looks are at least an 8
even have great social skills, it's just that I never trusted women and would never go after anything under a 7.
Now I have a 9/10 girl & am happy as ever, she even told me she doesn't believe I'm a virgin

Computer science: degree vs diploma vs certificate?
In the end I don't want a lot of debt and I'd prefer a job staying at home.
Is computer science the fight option? If so which route is best?
>>18489303
My buddy got a certificate, never went to college and now works from home. He does networking or some shit.
His best friend got a diploma from like DeVry or something and does the same thing except he contracts to build websites and programs. I think the degree is a little much.
Both are happy and in middle class making about 60 to 80 depending on how hard they work, and they dont work hard.
>>18489594
Sorry to double post but the DeVry guy has a shitload more debt than I do and I'm a Mech E. Go to state college if you're going to do that.
>>18489598
Where did the other guy get his certificate?
I enrolled in a community college for the summer term because I was thinking of taking a summer class and added it to my course list to see the price. I ended up not taking the class, but I was still enrolled in the system. The instructor withdrew me from the class before the deadline luckily. I was emailed that I'm being charged a fee for enrollment, health services, and other campus stuff that I didn't use. Can I just not pay the fee if I don't plan on ever going back to the college? Will it go on a record or credit history or anything?
