WT and its mods (especially Silver) may take longer, but dont have much CGs, i think WT only has one at the very end, and the rest are chibis. Same with PT, maybe PT:Gold will get you some more.
Korra Trainer should get its first real beta soonish, but its a beta, so dont expect anything longer than 20minutes.
Many of the other projects dont even have a playable beta, or are even ongoing.
Super Mom will also be over in under an hour, and I dont have much hope that the new version gives you much more content, atleast not to get it up to multiple hours.
There are some /weg/ RPGmaker games that will take you some hours, but most of them are not rich of porn. (Last Sovereign is a decent game, but most/all porn is written, and not really good. The game itself is okay though)
Overwhored got its "final" release a couple of days ago, but I stiill would expect another version, because it seems like there are still some bugs.

I had an interesting thing happen in Overwhored. Normally the game blacks out in the bay at the ice queen part, but for some reason when I got into the boat it gave me the rowboat trigger. So when I went to the ice queen area I found this and the trigger in the bay for some reason worked.

Alright, /stg/ tonight I decided to stop being a "they should do" and became an "I'll do."
I have some rough plans for a (very) rough sex, coercion based harem training game. It'll be mostly written word, as I don't have enough confidence in my art skills to add it.
With just the basics set and a small intro, I'm about 3.5k words in.
There is one sex scene with 4 different endings you choose from, and I'm working on a second and third right now. I've cranked out this work in the past 4 hours. I have a gameplay/pseudo-alignment system that I'm working out, but that's a bit of a cart before the horse kinda thing.
I've also been writing smut on and off for about 3 years, so even my shitty writing is much better than you're expecting.
I'm not looking for sheckels or people to tell to work, I like doing all of it because I want to make a game for my tastes that I would play.
My question is when I have what I would consider a playable demo, where should I upload this and what format should I use? I am currently writing in ren'py due to the ease, but formatting wise I love the design of new-life which is Java.I can learn whatever language I need to, as I have a bit of a computer science background but it'll take some time.
I wouldn't really care, even if you simply rip CGs/assets from other games. Just be open and honest about it, especially if you are asking for money in any way and don't pretend like the assets used are yours/fully original or used with permission when in reality they are not.
What I do care about is a good game and please actually match the assets to the scenes and don't use a ton of different styles for your game. It should look like it was done by one artist. Consistency is good.
If you use rpatool to decompile src.rpa, and edit options.rpy to allow you to use the dev console, you can force any event to run, including ones not yet implemented.
open dev console with shift-o > "jump runev" > enter helen or violet > enter name of room
tropic comment your code nignog. trying to figure out how it works when you named everything with nondescript names and no comments is a nightmare.
Also, while we're on the topic, I think you should implement screen switching into your eventDriver() function/module/subroutine/whatever they call it in python. That way, you could have events that progress through different rooms.
It's not that it's not formatted, it's that there's one comment per 300 lines, and variable names aren't descriptive. Take this for example: what is "cev"? We know it's an array, but what is it for? And what about "d"? or "eds"? or "cevs"?
I guess it doesn't matter if he never intends on other people seeing the code, but if he eventually decides to bring in somebody to take over or assist in the programming, I feel very sorry for whoever has to take up that task.
just drag everything into your SUPER_MOM-0.0.4-win/game/ directory. I've also added a folder containing revisions to helen's underwear, so if you don't want that, don't drag the "images" folder into your game directory.
I also drew this up, if anyone cares. If you put this in game/images/Helen/clothes, then start the game and open the dev console while at the wardrobe screen, you can do "_helen.strip()" and then have her wear this. If you don't strip her first it'll look stupid because she'll have a bra on underneath.
I haven't figured out how to add custom clothing to the wardrobe menu yet, so this replaces dressc10.png, so make a backup if you plan on trying this out.

Alright I figured it out.
To add a custom clothing item to the wardrobe menu, you have to edit itemtable.rpy to tell the game that the image is an item, and costumes.rpy to tell the game to unlock it. After that's done and the image is in the images/Helen/clothes/ directory, you have to use the developer console to call "_helen.addCostume(5, "hcorset")" where 5 is the torso clothing slot, and "hcorset" is the name of the item, as defined in itemtables.rpy.
Probably wouldn't be very easy to automate that process.
Tropic, how exactly do you plan to reconcile progressive outfits with the reality of CG constraints?
If you're expecting to make six different versions of each change, it's probably going to take you at least a whole day to get through all of them

You get the modded scripts from anon-bro's mega-drop. You do the shit he tells you.
Then, everytime you start the game, it unpacks a .rpy file and bam - conflict, so you just go to the game folder, start the game about 8-9 times, and delete the conflicting .rpy everytime. use the timestamps to figure out which ones you wanna keep.
The point is, you have to draw the base image with six different outfits, seven if one is naked, including over the various body changes so not really just one static image

Then while you're making pngs you have to export 6-7 versions of each png
So a simple scene with say 20 changes which is conservative would actually mean 120-140 images, which take a lot of time to change the layers on and then export
And it's going to make your game files huge if you're using images in 720

I also split the game into two, basically easy mode and hard mode and each has separate events
Angel mode - twice as many corruption events and easier chances to get them
Devil mode - Everything is equal
I'm still brainstorming stuff so I don't know exactly what I need at this point

RenPy automatically adds new layers on top of the old ones for each image you add.
Disadvantage is probably having to place everything correctly (but you can work around that by making them all the same size) and lots of images taking longer to load, but I haven't seen an amount used actually making a really noticeable difference yet.
I think it's not the smartest way to use an image library, if you can just use layers, which allow for way more combinations, make it easier to combine assets already used into something new you might want/need and can result in a smaller size for the game at the same time.
Of course that's what you should do.
I am just saying that in theory, if you were to use a ton of layers for whatever reason (displaying 5 characters with 20 layers each to them or so), it would take longer to load than if you were to create one image with all 5 characters in their layers already in it.
That's why I said I haven't seen an amount actually used making a real difference, but in theory it could, depending on what you want to do.
However, RenPy is fairly streamlined for displaying graphics, so it should take quite a bit for that to ever become a problem. This downside still exists though and might be relevant for someone.
Hey, checked the pastebin, and the walkthrough for princess trainer seems to be outdated. It stops at quest 8. I've managed to waddle through it thus far, but I'm missing the final quest. It's quest 13, "The favorite customer". I've tried to trigger it by doing different things but none of it seems to be working.
I've 'beat' the game and shall the wedding scene, so I'm not sure what I've missed.

As if anyone could tell you. I doubt anyone ever timed how long that takes to load and in theory there shouldn't be any bugs, unless you fuck it up, but you never know. A lot of engines are simply weird and have bugs you can't really do much about.
All in all you just have to try it and see for yourself.
Although not canon the school will have uniforms since it'll probably be a thing in the future where npc characters will be corrupted to change their clothing and it's much easier to do it to a single uniform then it is to like 100 individual different clothes

The thing is that you'll have powers to make others want to do depraved acts. Question is just how dark this is gonna get. The stuff I am drawing inspiration from has people scratch each other bloody and have a huge orgy in actual puddles of blood, but I don't think I want to go there. The background just makes it open to a lot of stuff (besides people screaming they don't want this).
If you're asking for opinions, mine is still definitely to keep it on the more lighthearted side. Keep it sexy and fun and have her act more like a succubus than a 'demon'. Sexual corruption only.
I think one of the things Akabur does well in his games is the sort of tone that allows him to be lighthearted but not pull punches. I think its one of the things from his games that would be worth trying to emulate in some fashion.
Going to try to keep this short, since the project is still at such an early stage that I shouldn't even be teasing it at all, but I've started developing a game that loosely fits into this category.
The working title is Brothel Keeper, and the game is intended to be just that; a management sim where you run a brothel that's kind of like Slave Trainer except with multiple girls at once and a little bit of crusader kings tossed in. Maybe even closer to Whore Master, but with (hopefully) more depth.
The thing is that I'm not really going for the sadism/slavery/rape angle that nearly every other game in the genre has. It's much more about slutification than subjugation, where you try to keep the girls happy and earn their trust rather than break them. Once you have their affection you can start molding them into your (or your customers) ideal sex toys by training their sexual skills, increasing their libido and sensitivity and changing their bodies through the use of expensive goblin potions.
I guess what I'm asking is, how important is sadism, rape and slavery to your enjoyment of these kinds of games? It's likely I'll add in an option for a more domination and mind-control heavy playstyle if the game ends up becoming popular, but the main gameplay focus will be on manipulation, slutification and romance

This is the big, big kicker. The answer is no, and I'm not sure the kind of art I'd like would even be feasible.
The game will be built in a way similar to how I imagine CoC/TiTS is, that is to say text based and with a huge range of possible character body types. Nothing like as crazy as those games, no furries or multiple body parts, just different muscle levels, thickness, height, boob size, those kinds of things.
The ideal scenario would be to have sex animations built like those for Breeding Season, with head/hair/skin variations just pasted onto a wireframe animation. The problem comes when you add in different heights and body part scales. It would certainly be possible to make an animation that allows for body sizes ranging from a four foot lolita to a 7 foot J-cup amazonian, but it would also be colossaly time consuming.
So the plan is to rely on text descriptions combined with a library of images, and match them as well as possible with the body types involved through a tag system. Far from ideal, but the alternative could take a whole animation team years to achieve.

The hope is to add in special girls with storylines, but also to include enough random events and mini-storylines to give even the random girls a bit of character. That's way, way down the line though.
Priority one is to get the basic gameplay working, which is still months off.

It really shouldn't be a huge issue, but I'm not sure where you're getting 40 separate layers from out of that image. Here are the layers I would see (in theory): 1. back of hair 2. base body. 2. eyes 3. brows 4. mouth 5 wrist/arm bands 6. tits 7. bra 8. shirt 9. hair top. So that's less than ten layers. You also might have a couple layers for accessories, a couple layers for the guy involved, but I don't see how you get to 40. Are you just putting each item possible as its own yes/no layer, rather than consolidating them into either/or groupings?
Yeah, see, those should all be on a single layer, chosen with a condition switch or something. It's fairly easy to set up and easier to manage than if you have to make sure that she definitely doesn't have 8 eyebrows showing up at once.

I am thinking of having one designated race be monster girls because of demonic influence/magic way back in time, so they'd be easier to win over for the demonic stuff.
I do want monster girls to be somewhat rare though. It should feel a little special if you run into them and not end up as an "oh look, another one of those..."
The monster girls races not created by demonic influence will just be normal races like elves and such, with a small population to be found in various places. Thinking of having them be from distant countries maybe, so I can base their culture on something different and have more of a reason as to why they are rare.
