I want to ask this here because /3/ is a graveyard and their help sticky isn't very helpful and it's 5 years old too. Anyone 3D model here? I did some small stuff for Skyrim modding and 3DS Max works pretty well with it. There's also plenty of resources to learn 3DS Max.

Don't think there's anything gimped about the student version; it's just not the latest version I think. You don't have to give proof that you're a student.

I don't know the exact differences between all those programs either; I think it comes down to personal preference and what you're aiming to use the program for. Another free and popular 3D program is Blender.

Hmm, well with a computer like that its probably gonna take some time for you to render images. Im kinda messing around with DAZ3D myself in my spare time, you can get some decent results with it I think, and assets for it are easy to pirate. If I remember correctly, you can also use any of those assets with 3DSmax and similar programs. Im absolutely not an expert on this, but if you just wanna make images of girls fucking etc with not much fuss then DAZ3d is probably your best bet. Being good at photoshop also helps.

I thought finding a good nude mod for the 2013 Tomb Raider would be simple, but there are so many God-awful ones to sort through that I don't know where to find actually quality. It's astounding how many people are satisfied by just pasting some pepperonies over her top.

Ideally the mod should keep the dirt and scratches in place like in the pic, the ones that clean her up are completely immersion-breaking. Some light pubes to demonstrate being stranded for days would be a plus.

The biggest problem with that game is that the base clothing is modeled into the body mesh. The crotch and butt will never look right unless the mesh is modified. Unfortunately the only way to mod the game is with Umod and Umod only supports textures. It's possible to a little shape changing by modifying the normal files, but it's really difficult and there's only so much you can do that way.
The author of Umod implies that it should be possible to modify meshes the same way textures are modified, but extending Umod requires some very specific programming knowledge which I don't have.

If you don't need the whole sexlab experience, you can have a lot of fun with pre-made waifus from Nexus or tesgeneral.com. Add FNIS and Halo Poser and have at it.
To build your own waifu add SKSE, Racemenu, Bodyslide, a texture mod, hair mods and Racemenu precache killer. Throw in a few armor mods and you're good for screenshooting.

Use a mod manager like NMM or Mod Organizer to make it easy.

Yeah, Iray is probably gonna be pretty slow on CPU only. I got 2 fairly powerful GPUs so a scene like what you posted would probably take 2-3 minutes tops. You could try the Reality 2.0 plugin, saw it floating around on kat. I think its faster on CPU only than Iray is, plus it gives very good results for very little effort. It doesent convert some iray materials properly though.

All these beautiful posed shots with ENB and perfect lighting... I thought I'd change it up and talk about how I play Skyrim. My system isn't the greatest so excuse the lack of perfect screenshots...

See, my Dragonborn is very powerful but that power carries a terrible curse; namely, that she occasionally finds bondage items that leap onto her, securing themselves instantly. Every chest has a any chance to contain any number of items, ranging from simple cuffs, to soulgem enchanted vibrating plugs and belt sets, to magical rubber doll collars that slowly cover the wearer in latex.

I do the normal questing, slaying dragons and draugr, but if I am defeated by humanoid enemies. they will likely lock devices on and rape me. Things can get very intense as she limps back to town, only to have to towns people react with uncontrolled lust when she tries to talk through her gag!

Here she is after a not so successful robbery. Who would have thought that safe was booby trapped!

All is not lost however. I can attempt to bargain with townsfolk for my release, earning keys in exchange for sexual favors, or sometimes doing special quests for them to earn release. Skyrim is a dangerous place to have a curse, however, and sometimes I only make it worse for myself.

Here is the dragonborn having mostly removed the previous restraints, only to have someone lock her in a very difficult chastity belt! How am I to barter sex for keys now? I guess I'll have to rely on the kindness of strangers, or try to find keys in chests... but they could be trapped, making it all the worse!

After scouring the Blue Palace for keys and eventually picking the lock on the Chastity belt, the Dragonborn decided to mess with Elisif the Fair. I felt she could use some humbling, and with my pickpocketing skills, encased her in the transparent rubber suit I was previously wearing! Not so haughty now!

It's taken a bit to get all the settings just right so I can actually play the game, with the bondage and sex as more of a fun side quest. I'd be happy to share what mods I use for which effects (most of it is a single mod, Cursed Loot, plus it's dependencies).

Sometimes, you gotta make your own fun, anon. Nude mods and other sorts of stuff like that can help with that, but looking into mods that can help you create your own story about your character can also be a big help. Even something as simple as a simple journal mod can revitalize a new Skyrim game.

Sometimes, it's just as simple as hashing out a motivating factor for your character. Even if you do essentially the same actions for each play-through, asking yourself "why did my character do this?" can help you define them and motivate yourself to formulate goals and ways to achieve them while staying true to your character's personality.
