I didn't think the voice acting was good when I played it.
Gameplay was lacking, the porn was mediocre and there wasn't too much too much of an actual plot and the characters were either generic or simply okay.
I especially hated the attempt to add to the game once the plot was over. Why not give you the possibility to do those things during the actual game?
But I do agree the voice acting was probably what got that much support for it.

for me personally it's added to the experience in the Japanese porn Rpgs I've played even when I can't understand the words, (or perhaps because I can't understand the words and so can't judge it for quality as well). It certainly isn't a make or break by any means but it would probably be nice to have, barring full voice acting even unique sound assets do add something.

As for ways a porn rpg should deviate from a non porn one, in my view it's most effective when as much of the gameplay supports or actively contributes to the sexual aspects of the game. Combat isn't super important and can even in extreme cases be effectively removed altogether. Of course such a thing isn't necessary but when some aspect of the sexiness is integrated into combat it is much more enjoyable.

Really you can have as many trappings of a traditional RPG as you want but don't let them get in the way of the game's goal.
