You build to spread spores everywhere and do tiny little damage tics while popping those spores for Viral procs (which don't stack and only last a few seconds per pop anyway).

She's in a bad place. Spore is only good for killing people's framerates unless you're using a dedicated build like explosive Hikou, Molt is the same as always except it's gotten even buggier in terms of enemies totally ignoring it, Toxic Lash is still a laughable melee-only self-only damage buff, and Miasma finally stuns again but still doesn't really do shit for damage and doesn't even proc corrosive to decrease armor like it originally did (hell, Frost's 4 is literally a better Miasma due to the freeze effect, high damage, and totally REMOVING armor).

And then on top of all that they changed her health/armor to make her even less tanky, then told players that you're supposed to be running into goddamned melee range with this squishy tank-turned-caster with a miniscule energy pool, and all the Youtube shills made up bullshit about how she's JUST AS GOOD AS BEFORE, you just need to spend thirty seconds and 300 energy to toxic and viral proc everyone before casting Miasma while also not dying the whole time!

id say saryn is where we need to draw the line between good and efficient. before the rework, she was good and efficient. but now, she's still good, but efficiency is debatable as her energy pool, despite being increased, does not compliment her demand for her powers...

Spores is good if you have constant mobs. so basically any endless mission, preferably infested. desu, i havent noticed a difference in molt other than that you can cast spores on it. i like doing this cuz it saves me the trouble of having to cast it on an enemy that another player is gonna kill, rendering the ability useless.

the only real purpose for Toxic Lash is to intantly pop spores with your melee weapon. i dont use it for the damage buff because there basically isnt any to consider. miasma is tricky. while it used to be designed to deal a shit ton of damage with corrosive proc, it's now designed to multiply from toxic and viral procs. the damage output of miasma increases by 100% for either proc and 200% for both. but this only applies to enemies affected by the procs, giving purpose to her other three abilities which deal those procs...

so basically, saryn incorporates all her abilities together. its impressive, but it makes her inefficient in terms of energy. and unless you have decent access to energy, its gonna be difficult trying to use these abilities whose sole purpose is to complement the other abilities...

the one key feature that i do like about reworked saryn is that spores is virtually endless, while each initial spore has its own lifetime, as long as you are able to spread it, it wont die out as a whole... so you can keep the spore train going from just one spore, it saves you the need to keep casting it. but again, it only works with constant mobs of enemies.

so, all in all, she's an ODD/ODS frame. and you need to know when and how to consider using her abilities given her energy inefficiency.

She's not good. She's better than Oberon, but there's few times where I'd willingly bring her over another frame other than eye candy.

All her rework did was try to make players funnel her other existing abilities into Miasma without actually changing how the abilities stand on their own, as well as nerfing Miasma itself because fatfuck was upset people were breezing through low level content (note: now they just use Ember. oops!). Spores spread more now, yay. Originally spores were fucking endless to the point of crashing people's computers and the procs they inflicted were permanent, but that all had to be nerfed ages ago. Toxic Lash pops spores. You know what else pops spores? Shooting them. Shooting them with your gun that probably does enough damage to kill the enemy outright, and everyone around them if you're using a top tier weapon like the Tonkor or Simulor.

Damage over time and multiple-cast-for-more-damage abilities just don't work in a game like Warframe. Sure, I could sit around casting Spore on my decoy, then mashing 4 to spread the AIDS and watching as enemies get stunned for three seconds and then run around for five minutes with little '3 4 3 4 3' damage tics coating my screen, or I could just shoot them for 80k+ damage with my Tonkor and move on.

Having started to use the Viral proc recently on non-Saryn Warframes, it's REALLY underrated for higher level play. I cannot state enough how helpful it is cutting down someone's total health by half when "Exponentially raise health" is one of the game's two ways of boosting enemy durability (the second being "Exponentially raise health").

Normally Corrosion comes first since reducing armor is even more vital (doesn't help to split an enemy's health if their armor still eats 95% of your damage), but if you can get both somehow you really should.

It's not really a matter of either/or, here. While sure, some people are going to prefer one or the other, in general, especially with a game that has relatively little pornographic content like WF, people are going to take whatever porn they can get that more or less coincides with their interests.

You're also assuming that all SFM animations are janky (and that all SFM porn is animated, for that matter, when there are plenty of stills, as well). No particular offense to the guy who did the pics you're referring to there (we all start somewhere), but they're not exactly the cream of the crop in animation quality. Some are much better than others. I will freely admit that a LOT of even the good animations can be repetitive to the point of looking mechanical, however, in the name of making endless loops.

Banshee's actually really good, her model is just really unfortunate.

Her helmets are too big for her body, especially the best-looking of the three (Reverb).

Those stupid nail things really stand out on almost any color scheme and they just look tacky.

Her feet not only look impractical to move around in, they're just poorly modeled, and the textures are kind of muddy.

And then there's the stupid shoulder... thing.

And this isn't even mentioning any of the minor aesthetic issues.

It's a shame, because her torso (arms/shoulders aside) actually looks pretty good. The rest of it's just stupid, though.

I'm hoping the deluxe skin looks a bit better in practice than it did in that preview, but either way it's a huge improvement on the normal one. It isn't nearly as faithful to the (superior) hand-drawn design as the Trinity Strega skin, though, which is just a thing of beauty.

Since Banshee's release every kid on the forums always screamed "dubstepframe!" in reference to her, even to the point of people actually making serious suggestions to replace her ultimate with her pulling out giant speakers so she could run around while the killing enemies with electronic music.

The skin is DE's versions of acknowledging all those memes because it's obviously much more profitable for them to cater to the rest of the community that only has a fleeting and humorous interest in the frame rather than the few rare players who actually like it.

Doesn't change the fact that players continuously label her as music frame when her theme has always been much more broad. Reducing it do "derp dj D34DM4U5" is just lazy and pandering to the crowd. The first draft of her skin was a lot more creative since it pushed the wraith aspect of the frame with that specter like arm. But no, that would have upset the group of people that don't play her because they hate her original archer shoulder armor.
Lowest common denominator design is all that skin is.

Rushing isn't a problem as the ability is centered around CC anyway and usually only comes into play when you want to hold the enemy in place. Granted, tho, her entire skillset needs utility and synergy. Actually Banshee's not bad for focus farming, assuming you aren't in a mission with a killstealer like Ash or Excal. Obviously nowhere near as good as Excal, but if you put a lens on her and a CC weapon like Amprex or Atomos, you can use Sonar, and rack up kills.

Works especially well if there's a Nova in the party, too. But then again, any CC weapon works wonders with a Nova and a Banshee in the squad.

Actually Valkyr is probably one of the most OP frames in the game right now, she's just not great at sustained KPS because her effective range is pretty much crap. Her potential burst DPS is ridiculous, though.

That said, you really need to have a good set of melee AND frame mods to make her good, which requires a fair amount of time having played. Once you've got all the right mods, though, she's basically the best melee frame in the game.

She's also got the best ass on any frame. Seriously, why isn't there more art of dat ass?
