kinda have this scenario where this group of mad max-ian type bad biker guys stumble across one of those 50's type military base/suburban Nuclear test sites that are styled to look like a normal small town. But it's actually full of people! The bikers would think this town is easy pickings because all the men look like milksops and the women look like they stepped out of a 50s fashion catalog. Stuff happens and the bickers think they've got this on lock when suddenly the women turn on them and they go, "oh my! We're all so pleased as punch you boys showed up to our little hamlet! <3 We've been needing some... Fresh blood around here~" And the tables get turned HARD on the bikers as they wind up being captured and taken to weird hidden facilities under the town. Then stepfordification/mind breaking happens, lots of them try to fight it as long as they can, but one by one they start to lose themselves. One or two manage to sort of escape the facilities but are still trapped in the town with no sign of their rides and smiling, heavily armed wives patrolling everywhere. They sneak around trying to find a way to escape/not get caught, and in the process uncover the secrets of this place. They find out about the history of this place; secret government facility/experiment gone horribly wrong, bla bla. Designed to combat the reds/nazis whatever using mind control bla bla, tried to stepfordize enemy agents then send them back to their home countries to destabilize them from the inside al la manchurian cadidate bla bla. But it backfired and they steppforeded the scientists/military personnel and the big wigs had to abandon it, destroyed all records of it in the outside world. Just when they put the last piece of the puzzle together and uncover the full horrid truth, they're found. (Cont)

Turns out the reason why this dang town wasn't just nuked from orbit was because the government projected that the town would eventually die out due to the primary programming imperative to stay close together as a community. Thus making it near impossible to go out and fetch new members, plus they where also programmed with hardcore family valuz(tm) so once they reached the point where they interbred so much that everyone became cousins, incest is a big Nono to them and they would stop breeding. At least that's what they hoped. But now that they grabbed the bickers, they have an excuse to expand the town a little, and once the last two bikers are converted, they still keep their memories and skill sets, but now their priorities have shifted to the wellbeing/prosperity of the town. One of the last ounces converted makes the suggestion to the board leader/mayor/supreme matriarch that they should make the town a tourist hot spot//rest stop so that they would never have to worry about finding new stock ever again.~ The End? (Twilight zone theme plays in the distance)

I just checked and I wrote it back in 2012, so I would say mine predates that so as far is prose goes I'll take dick-waving rights, but the actual origin was this sequence. The Empress part was a third stage meant to go beyond what this image capped off at, though.

I'm not sure if I can recommend my original stuff though, it was years ago and it might not be very good in retrospect. I'm really happy that the commissions came from it and kicked off a minor thing though. Hopefully it'll gain some popularity in the future.
