I'd disagree, but of course your opinion is valid.

CG characters tend to be shallower, and there's quite a bit of roster-bloat, in that there's too many of them with no justification. Some of them are quite likeable, in my opinion, so CG has a slight edge. Not an insult at 765, of course.

People shit on Ciinderella Girls too much. It's not that bad. The girls were enjoyable, but I liked the story a lot. It was an okay representation of trying to be successful in the industry being yourself while being pressured by the big wigs to be something you aren't. Also almost every girl overcame a personal obstacle. Producer even developed.

I'm not saying it's the end all be all idol show, but /a/ is too harsh on it. Like most things I guess. Also there's the whole shit taste thing.

You both just described how I feel perfectly. Due to the many girls in CG, I'll admit a lot of the girls are reduced to shallower traits, something that wasn't nearly as prevalent as the original IMAS. However, I still found it very enjoyable. I love both dearly but CG girls captivated me for whatever reason, maybe the designs and simplicity? I'm not sure still but I appreciate the characters anyway.
