I hated how it was handled. I don't mine them ending up together but the author could have done a much better job.

Only thing I didn't like is the NBR reveal.

The Kouki drama went on way too long, but I guess the author wanted to show how unfitting he was as Rin's partner.

I just watched the anime last week, it's really good. I liked the manga a lot, but I'd recommend the show over it (I'd recommend both, but if I had to pick just one, the show). Director's really good and it is very pretty throughout. Voice casting was also well done I thought. Also the early part of the manga was its strongest arc, I thought, and that's all the show covers. Very short and sweet.
