Except when the time and workforce used to make an anime that is repeating itself ad nauseam could actually be used for more interesting. If the artstyle was evolving or taking a different direction, if the animation was still present, there would be little problem but almost everything that followed the first installment so far has been inferior to Bake when it comes to the amount of work put into it. Have you tried watching the recent Owari or Koyomi? The stories aren't even interesting, and whenever there's a little bit of action, the physics are completely off (bodies look like they are floating)
