Try to stick it out. I just finished it recently and loved it. It does take a bit to really get going, but I'd say it's worth it. Lotsa set-up in the first 6-8 episodes but it starts to improve afterward.

The manga art is fucking shit and the anime is better paced and objectively superior to the old ass outdated manga.

I kept watching it hoping it would get better at some point, but it really didn't. About 3/4ths in I found it okay, but it just felt like a waste of time
