Does /a/ believe in "forced animation"?
In this one I thought the GENUINE scene was perfect, but they went full retard in the last episode.
You know what, even though this is often used in bait threads I sort of get the concept behind it. We're usually so starved of animation we tend to associate any movement with quality, but sometimes animation can have a lot of movement and even be well made, but still look like shit.
No but I get what you mean
Like look at this shit, no other part of the show is as well animated as this clip, why?
I think what you mean is "overdirection" not forced animation
And yeah some anime have some ridiculous overdirection like Shaft's adaptation of Nisekoi...too many unneeded camera movements, too many uneeded pans etc.
Or Death Note...where they make every death scene feel like a dumb action scene every time Kira kills someone
I'm not talking about Nichijou where they use the animation to accompany the absurd comedic situations.
I'm talking about their highschool googly-eyed shit where they do nothing but talk talk talk and they make all these oh so well animated scenes where everyone is silent but shit like wind blowing happens.
It's just becomes too distracting and ruins the moments.
Shameless wank or actually good?
Saw one in another forced animation thread. Try desustorage?
Rotoscoping has too much bad rep.
