Why was the English intro so bad?
The Latin Americans didn't fuck it up.
What i want to know is, how it happened?, how is that the mexicans were able to bypass Saban's Monopoly and got Digimon straight from japan!?
considering the other animes from the fox kids line-up were the americanized licenses like Flint the time detective and Mon Colle Knights?
Jesuschrist, how could they fuck the opening like that and replace based butterfly by that bullshit soulless techno-rap
As a child and adult, I appreciate that Digimon was downgraded from a serious show to ADD-riddled chaos in the English dub. It made what was in Japanese an unbearably boring show watchable.
>The Latin Americans didn't fuck it up.
Maybe my hearing is failing but they seem to have dubbed Butterfly in Spanish.
Spanish is a fucking terrible sounding language so yea they clearly fucked it up.
The worst opening dub i've seen was Saint seiya's version in castellano (Spain)
I mean, the fuckers showed that instead of pegasus fantasy, and Seiya already appears using the Saggitarious armor
>the fansub fell apart on episode six
The weird part is that tge instrumental of the original opening can be heard in the series from tine to time. I freaking loved it as I hunted it down. Bassed Wild Flowers was pretty hard to find in 2003.
>Cada invento nos acerca a la destruccion
Honestly bruv you can't talk shit about Latin Americans not fucking things up, dub-wise, after you've seen this and Rayearth.
>the pun is "BEAT X"
>as in heartbeat, as in the titular X awakens with the blood of his master that was passed down to her student
>"like a phoenix rising up"
>the main character's mecha is a kirin/pegasus if you wanna be gay about it
>the blonde faggot with the 'phoenix' actually has the suzaku analogue
>no mention of sailing for any dreams
Gee golly, but don't we all prefer the shitty dub and it's censored garbage music and dialogue?
