Why does Mewtwo have a feminine/child-like voice now?
What happened to my big dick bandit?
only 1 was created
it's a fake pokemon made by mad scientists
In the anime its canon that there is only one
It was the only one made by a group of scientists that were all killed by their creation in a special lab that was razed to the ground
Every time mewtwo appeared in the anime, and even the genescect movie, there's a flashback to when he was in the team rocket pods
It's the same Mewtwo. Only one in both the anime and manga universe
There is also only one Mewtwo in the games. It's just that you can have multiple, because it's a game
I wish they would make a shounen anime based on the Pokemon manga. It was pretty rad
>Mewtwo and Blake are connected, if one dies so does the other
>The Elite 4 are terrorists
>There's a masked man running around kidnapping children using Ho-Oh and training them into soldiers
Mewtwo was made by genetic splicing and freak accidents
Are you saying the Unova scientist just happened to splice the exact same traits from the exact same Pokemon with Mew somehow created the exact same Pokemon, but with a female voice being the only difference?
Nah there's a flashback to the Team Rocket base in the Genesect movie
Ahead on Saturday, July 13, the release of Pokemon new movie, about Mewtwo is an important character of the work, discussion of "whether it is a different individual from the Mewtwo of the first work" is flourishing on the Internet had.
For Mewtwo that appear in this work, Kunihiko Yuyama director said, "not a Mewtwo (the first film) the same" in an interview with the official site.
So there we go.
Female-voiced Mewtwo is not the one we know and love
With that said, there are multiple Mewtwo in the games because the games introduce multiverses.
What are you doing on /a/ if you haven't watched enough anime to tell whether a Japanese voice is good or not? Ash's Japanese voice is literally one of the singers for Jam Project.
How do you go from this...
>Ash's Japanese voice is literally one of the singers for Jam Project.
They just made a different Mewtwo. You niggas are expecting too much out of Pokemon lore. If they need another Mewtwo to appear for the movie then they'll make another Mewtwo.
Also in the movie they showed another group of scientist making the new Mewtwo in a lab.
Like I said, you're expecting too much out of Pokemon and it's lore.
They aren't trying to be realistic in any way. Ash ran up and jumped on a huge fucking block of ice in the Lucario movie without slipping to his death.
If they need another Mewtwo for marketing purposes then they'll make another Mewtwo.
>But it would literally be impossible to re-create the exact process used to make Mewtwo
It doesn't need to be identical. It just need to be close enough to be called a Mewtwo.
>I've only read the adventure manga, actually. Team Rocket created Mewtwo
Why did you think this was relevant in a discussion about the anime in a thread about the anime? Are you lost?
>Even in the first Pokemon movie, Mewtwo was created by Team Rocket.
No it wasn't. The entire idea that Team Rocket or Giovanni/Sakaki funded the Mew expedition or employed Dr. Fuji and his team to create Mewtwo was all 4kids fanfiction. Team Rocket's involvement with Mewtwo only started after Mewtwo had already destroyed the lab it was made in.
>This thread was made about a Pokemon movie, why are you talking about the anime?
The movies are anime you fucking invalid.
I think that they changed the voices to better suit their roles as an agressor (1st movie) and defender (genesect movie).
If you're going to pull the "movies aren't canon" card when faced with the fact that your fanfiction isn't canon then we have literally no idea how the Mewtwo that appeared in those two episode of the main series anime was created. All we know is that a Mewtwo wearing weird armor worked for Sakaki for some period of time. Which doesn't in any way prove that Team Rocket created Mewtwo. Or that anyone created Mewtwo at all for that matter.
