Yes. There are 12 universes in total. The pairs whose numbers add up to 13 are closely related. DBZ is Universe 7 and is paired with Universe 6.

There's a tournament going on between U6 and U7 right now and one of the U6 fighters is a good counterpart to Frieza named Frost.
