It strikes me that Bat is the most emotional girl. What she's thinking is pretty obvious, she gets angsty about RRRG maybe not thinking of her and almost ends the world, and she can't figure out how to deal with it when her ex shows up and then ends up being lectured by Monkey...

In a way she's the most stereotypical. Her "awesome vampire" thing mutes it but really she's an emotional, somewhat impulsive type.

Akatsuki is the one responsible for making the fights look good. Don't get me wrong, Nisio has great ideas for what kind of stuff should happen in a fight. But his writing style isn't suited for making the fight feel 'fast-paced' or 'dynamic' in print form.

So I just came back from the watching.

And it was pretty weird.

The artstyle was pretty alright, I was afraid I'm not gonna like it because it's about 97% CGi with character sprites moving on entirely 3d backgrounds, basically nothing but the characters were drawn.

But it looked okay, they made it work.

Holy fucking christ the criiiinge, I cringed more than I have in my entire life.

The acting stood out so much because it didn't feel like I was watching an anime but it still suffered from anime acting, so the major scenes were too emotional and overreacted I nearly broke my fucking neck there.

Also the boob shots and proper jiggle gainaxing in super serious scenes, like when shinobu was crying for her life with her bust jiggling non-stop was gratuitously retarded.

I don't know how I feel about it yet, I'd give it a 5/10 for now. Hope the next one gets somewhat better.
