Is this the part where shizuo seriously tried to kill izaya?
All she needs is a hug.
I don't understand this girl. Is this a misguided love or what?
-senpaiwas really cool this chap.
A maiden finding out about her feelings of love for the very first time in what was a life of nothing but challenges, autism and deathbringing.
I want to listen to things Kujiragi has to say with that voice and those glasses.
>I want to listen to things Kujiragi has to say with that voice and those glasses.
She's evil anon. Don't you want to hear about how she's evil? She's the last boss anon. The last boss.
Shizuo just let her walk. I suppose he didn't understand that celty was being held by her saika(s) or he would have just punched her.
Did it get good again? I loved the original run. The first season of the new stuff left me pretty disappointed and I only watched one episode of the second season. Should I pick it back up?
You are being retarded. Saika can sever the invisible link between a dullahan's head and body. Why are you surprised that a capable wielder could also use it to trap one?
If it's so boring you just stop watching and go back to your haremshit.
You sure are getting angry over someone not lapping up such slack writing. Why couldn't the stupid saika bitch make it airtight instead of a lame spiderweb smoke can easily escape from? It's within her power, but doesn't do it because laziness.
Because he's nothing but fujoshit bait. You very rarely actually see him do anything to make his "plans" work, just a few phonecalls or something happens and he takes credit for it.
Izaya does not "plan" (except for contingency plans for his safety or contract work), thats the whole point - he just gives a push to events here and there and wait to see what happens.
Verona will train to become a valkyrie as strong as Celty to prepare for the day when Shizuo stubs his toe on a hammer that some asshole left laying in the middle of the street and picks it up to hurl it at Izaya.
Please tell me Izaya gets his shit kicked in next episode.
She doesn't know how to deal with these new emotions she's feeling.
I think the poor animation actually makes it look really funny with Shizuo's noodle legs flopping around.
So imagine this
Trust Me plays
>Izaya gets his shit kicked
>in next episode.
Next episode looks like more flashbacks and Kida/Moot stuff.
Keep in mind we're nearing the climax and we still have 5 episodes left, and a lot of shit to resolve.
>for a reason.
his body ignoring his limits thing can suspend disbelief only so far, there's no believable way Shizuo can be a simple human being and defend against a falling ton of weight
>Not a single character has died yet even though a lot of them are in constant situations where they should
DRRR is clearly avoiding any character death, no reason for it to of changed.
I really liked Durarara but for some reason I don't feel like watching X2
Probably because you feel that Durarara ended on a happy note and fear that X2 would retroactively dampen your enjoyment of the first seasons.
Trust me, watch all of X2 in one go and you won't be disapointed.
Except in Mikado maybe.
On the contrary. Just because I am disappointed in Mikado doesn't mean that I don't enjoy his shenanigans a lot. There are no worst parts in Durarara. Except that slideshow episode about russians.
No normal human in Naritaverse is normal by our standards.
Fedora jumped off a building like it was nothing
Kida had enough force in his punch to puncture his own hand with the bone he just broke.
Izaya is stupidly fast to the point where it looks like some invisible force is doing the cutting.
Simon can toss around vending machines like it's nothing.
All these are normal humans, and Shizuo is overpowered by 'their' standards.
I'm fine with the supernatural stuff because it's supposed to be supernatural, and Shizuo having a particular constitution that makes him able to lift heavy stuff isn't as retarded as that scene
You already forgot that guy?
Did we even watch the same series?
It's not just his constitution. He used to break his bones all the time when he was a kid. The theme here is that what doesn't kill him makes him stronger. He was shot at in the first seasons, so now he's probably invulnerable to bullets as well. I wouldn't put it past him.
>holding the twin semen demons up by their asses
Yeah and he still gets stabbed by a pen and shot when the story needs for him to be in danger, it feels just like the author is changing up how strong he is whenever he wants with no regards to consistency.
>stabbed by a pen
>be in danger
I never thought of shizuo being in danger during this scene. Did we really see the same series?
I feared for him too at first, but the next episode we see him walk all the way to Shinra with no problems so there goes that.
The problem with the shoulder deflecting the excavator was how horrible the animation was. I facepalmed. They couldn't spare a few bucks for that, pathetic. Watch them waste money on Airi
So, went to watch the third cour and realised it'd been too long for me to remember every little detail from season 1 and the first two cours of season 2. It seems like everything is coming together, so I'd rather go in knowing everything. I've noticed HorribleSubs/CR have butchered a fair few translations, making things difficult to understand with respect to what happens in the light novels. If I'm going to rewatch the whole damn series, what's the best subgroup to go with?
i outright missed the second half of the second season. and i'm not even sure how, i guess my eyes glazed over it every week.
The author is bad about character bloat just to make the town feel bigger. I'll never remember who all the people in the chatroom are, but that's because half of them are fucking Izaya pretending to have friends
I just feel like I've missed a lot, or forgotten a lot.
Which Saika wielder originally stabbed Haruna? Why?
Why did that dude hire the stalker to fuck with Hijiribe Ruri? What happened to him?
Why did Izaya crush Amphisbaena and Heaven's Slave in such an elaborate way?
I feel like a lot of things are happening for no fucking reason/a lot is just unexplained. I don't even remember why Izaya is holding onto Celty's head/why she's just been ignoring that when she obviously knows. Hell, I don't even know why she suddenly doesn't want to be reunited with it. This third cour confused the fuck out of me in the first episode.
Izaya stole it from Nebula, or whoever it was that had it first, and nobody knew.
Celty doesn't want her head back because she decided to be Shinra's waifu until he dies now and she's scared getting her head back would change her personality
