While Bleach and Gintama may have low rankings in the polls, their graphic novel sales are still high and are consistently ranked among the Top 30 best-selling manga in Japan.

As for Toriko and Nisekoi, their graphic novel sales have been pretty shitty lately and were not ranked among the top 30, so l'll give you that.

Attack on Titan kinda is to a degree in that a lot of people seem to know about it but it doesn't seem to have as much normie appeal. I mean, back in the day I had people sit down and WANT to watch Cowboy Bebop with me who were people who literally hated anime. I don't know if we'll ever see something reach into the "doesn't really watch animation" audience and grab them again that much.

As for Naruto-level fighting shounen appeal? I dunno. My Hero Academia could do it but it won't do it on its own; Naruto and DBZ got their mainstream exposure through daytime airings on CN and CN doesn't really do that anymore since they have their series of cartoons for 30 year-old potsmokers and pansexual tumblrites.

If My Hero Academia got:
-An amazing dub
-A daytime after-school timeslot on CN or another standard cable network
+ a proper marketing push to get enough eyeballs on it early- then maybe.

Superhero media is huge right now so it'd be the right time to do it. I don't think any of these things will happen now however.

Depends on what you want. If you want adventures and exploration of the world, then you should avoid it. The plot itself is rather simple, though it's becomes more complex towards the end. What is complex are it's many characters, their interactions, secrets and pasts. Bleach character are it's strong points, but if you don't want to care for anyone but the main cast, then you will feel frustated. Bleach uses a constantly rotatiting ensemble.

If had to cmpare Bleach to other shows, I would say, it's like a combination of Lost and JoJo.

He draws backgrounds, but as many times he prefers a clean black/white background. It makes the characters in a scene more prounounced, especially their facial expession and as many times the use of black and white is used for symbolism. But he names this manga Bleach for a reason.

If you're the type who likes forshadowing and digging symbolism and well hidden references, then Bleach could be for you. Also you shouldn't care too much about power levels, since Bleach uses more of a rock-paper-scissor system, unless it's Aizen, Ichigo or Kenpachi.
