Is the next episode going to be shit again?
So we've finally reached the point where people give so few fucks that threads are made after subs are out.
It started out like a nice fantasy anime and then it felt like the director had no idea what to do and just randomly put in some serious episodes along with SoL episodes that made no sense.
>Utawarerumono airs on Saturday
Damn. Totally forgot about this fact.
How wet she will be for him at the end of the war?
>tfw thoroughly enjoyed the comfy first 13 episodes or so
>tfw still enjoy all the war shit thats going down
No, I bet the anime is skipping that.
>eh, Haku can pull off Oshutoru disguise all of a sudden.
For some reason they thought the shitfest that was 18 and luring Kuon with burritos was acceptable.
>THEY SKIPPED HOT AIR BALLOON
>THEY SKIPPED HOT AIR BALLOON
WELL SHIT WHITEFOX! JUST REMOVE EVERY INSTANCE HAKU DOES SOMETHING IMPORTANT
>Making Kurou this strong
I know they are supposed to wank the tuskuru guys since they'll mainly be antagonists next game but Yakutowaruto should be enough to at least toe to toe with him.
I guess. If Tokifusa is a playable unit, he's probably really strong. Really doubt most of the 8 will be playable though since Haku has to reunite Yamato with just oshutoru's people.
Is this really to be mad about though? They still the game goals just a different way of entry.
I thought this episode was pretty good the Munechika fight possibility has me hyped.
>Hot air balloon
Kuon and gang come upon some konjac. Haku calls it konjac and Kuon doesnt know what he is saying. Obviously the animal people have a new term for konjac then when humans were around. From the shape, Haku inspires a hot air balloon. Haku uses a ton of tarp and even peoples underwear so they could sneak into the fortress quietly.
>Is this really to be mad about though? They still the game goals just a different way of entry.
It shows outside the box thinking and tactics. My boner goes up when civilizations that think airplanes are magical metal birds are introduced to science and technology even with something as simple as hot air travel.
Please watch GochiUsa season 3 instead onegaishimasu.
>fucking up utaware was a trick to get people to watch usagi
This. The anime has removed every instance of it. From the initial bandit attack, to the rescuing anju which he was supposed to do, the hostage rescue, and now this.
And if they do an anime for the third game, how are they going to explain his giant strategies that are better than anyones? Which is what I assume will happen cause antimagic
yeah that happened in game too. and even in game it shouldn't have. But oldfags gonna wank oldfag shit even in fiction.
But really >>137683200 and >>137683335 are right, removing mc competence is not a good thing
Yes, it is the anime's fault. He doesnt plan out full scale wars like Hakuoro because Yamato actually has a stable government rule but he does the strategizing on the missions for it to be out of the box.
Game 3 will probably be full out war strategizing.
Welp, lets get this over with.
>Haku pretty much incompetent
>character motivations unclear if not inconsistent
>power levels and strategy are basically whatever is convenient for the plot
I wouldn't even bother watching this if I didn't love the original series so much
>If you were serious you could tear this country in half.
Did Kurou mean that from a political perspective? Cause at the end of the game, kind of indicates she doesnt have great control over her magic.
>can watch this as a mediocre show with interesting bits
>don't have to suffer because they are adaptating it like shit
>once I'm done, I just have to wait till they translate the game and enjoy the proper story
This must be the only time I was so glad of being a secondary.
yes. before first cour ended i decided i wouldn't bother bd archiving this series. now i decided keeping cr rips isn't even worth it as i won't re-watch this shit pile again. now i'm just straight up thinking of dropping it. this show is fucking terrible
are you watching this without watching the first season? you're missing out if you are
even without playing the game they fucked up by turning a serious about war and strategy into a SOL
>it's a a good thing my memories of garbage and my dead family came in handy when throwing explosives into this building
what the fuck am I watching?
I mean that I didn't play the second game.
Thus, I don't give a fuck about bad adaptations and can enjoy the original story once they translate the game.
Seriously, looking at the primaries here crying all the time, this is the first time I'm glad that I can't into moonrunes.
The only downside is the spoilers, but I can deal with that.
Also a secondary and this show is garbage. You just have no standards.
>"How can we do x?"
>"lol I found this path I think"
>followed 5 minutes of of watching our heroes hide in the bushes twiddling their thumbs
And this happens every episode now. I do not understand how anyone can actually enjoy this.
>can't use bullshit teleport because of bullshit anti magic caster in watch tower
>decide to target supplies regardless
>mission complete, but they're stuck
>BS teleport suddenly works
>go back after watching episode to find 10 frames of the tower falling over from collateral damage despite being fine in the previous scene
How is anyone supposed to follow this?
>hostage in front
>not even renstrained
>weapons aren't drawn
>not even on guard
This is the worst plan ever. There is literally nothing stopping these soldiers from surrounding and skewering them.
Gee was this not obvious enough for you? I always thought battle shounens were awful for endlessly explaining everything that happens on screen as if the audience were mouthbreathing retards but apparently people like you exist and despite this being explained previously and shown redundantly twice you still didn't get it.
Every episode is shit. They either introduce another girl who adds nothing to the story, have Haku do menial tasks, or fight in a war with no stakes because the generals are OP.
>soldiers crying when they see her as hostage
>generals calls on her name
>they literally throw off "the daughter of the man I swore loyality" line
>"Hey, Kuon, aren't you a little bit too famous here?"
I think that the only problem with this ep were technicals like the animation of the munechika side and kuon and his magic paths. Everything else was mostly fine or at least way better than some another episode of this season.
Maybe Kurou being super powerfull, but the guy was always strong at least oboro tier and this guy tie with karura one time.
I want a tailjob from Kuon. She has a wonderful tail.
What did he mean by this?
I one more month, only 5 episodes left.
>Get attacked by zombies episode and back to tuskuru
>country going crazy, we see Entua flashback hired by Honoka, Vurai goes after Oshutoru
>the gang saves oshutoru and fights vurai
>finish off vurai the first time and escape with oshutoru, Vurai goes crazy fights mikazuchi for a few seconds, ends with godzillas about to fight.
>godzilla fight, oshutoru
dies, Hakutoru begins, cliffhanger galore. Buy two hakuoro coming this september.
Anyone else feels that this episode somehow butchered Kurou's character as compared to the game (and the 1st season)? Maybe it's because of how they depict him, the voicing, or just his the way they depict his character here...something feels off. Big time.
He was always a battle maniac though
Hakuoro needed to invent gunpowder in the first game but im pretty sure that only he and erururu knows how. In the other hand Kuon has something like a bomb too.
We're going to go full anime original and Haku defeats Vurai with Oshitoru and nobody dies, Emperor was just faking death so Vurai could be saved and joins the mc as a good guy Vurai, ho ho ho ho
CALLING IT NOW
>MFW when anime original happens
I don't remember him like that, other than ranking below carrier, he never outright loses a fight.
The whole "I was expecting you, let's play for a while" attitude is pretty consistent with the first season.
I don't know anon. He just seems like evil incarnate here with the red eye and all. Attacks Kuon on sight without the exchange of words they had in the game first. Kurou just seemed more..I don't know..casual/laid back/relaxed before? He just seems like an evil guy now. I can't imagine S1 Kurou saying that all even women and children won't be spared -- if they stand in his way.
>don't remember him like that, other than ranking below carrier, he never outright loses a fight.
Because he's sturdy/stubborn. he never outright loses a figth, but he never outright won one either.
I just took it as playing along with kuon's game, he had a clear shot at haku and barely scratched him. he knows kuon could just walk into the fort and tell everyone to go home so he probably thinks she wants to experience a fight with high stakes
well, neither did oboro, and they're kind of on the same power level. they're on the lowest rung of the highest tier, they're not going to win any fights that feel satisfying.
You know, he's being pretty brave and stupid here...can you imagine what the moms would do to him if they found out he actually "hurt" Kuon in anyway. The male characters were are nothing compared to the female ones.
HOT AIR BALLOON WHITEFOX REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Erururu learned about it from her grandmother, who apparently was warned about it during her training, so it known about it limited circles. Kuon had what are basically flashbangs.
Because it has no budget. They even rehashed the same stupid shit from that fucking awful Anju episode just so they wouldn't have to animate mouth movement.
Does Eruruu appear in Itsuwari no Kamen? I know that there has been a lot of references to her. I kinda want Karura and Touka to pick up their swords again too.
Though given that Haku replaces Oshutoru, I expect the third game to about reawakening Hakuoro/Witsuarunemitea or maybe finding a way to separate his god powers to let him live without turning the world into hell.
Nope, normaly the eldest child succeds on the throne.
There are several exceptions tought, for example 99% of shits in middle-age Hungary'y come from the fact that originally the eldest relative took over the throne. There were almost no heredity without civil war which in even the last fucking collateral relative wanted to gain the crown.
So direct descendence is way better.
I disagree, while it has pacing problems thanks to being overloaded with SOL, it's still decent.
Most angry people come from having played or spoiled the game, but as an animefag, most stuff makes enough sense for this to be entertaining. Source is always going to be better, so I find it silly for people to complain this much about what's basically a commercial for the game. It's not like the plot has changed greatly unlike some manga adaptations, it's just lacking a lot of scenes.
There are also other animefags that simply don't pay any fucking attention and still complain about stuff that was actually explained.
I played both the games, loved the second one, and will preorder the third. That being said I dropped the anime since Haku stopped making sense as a character and they are cutting out the good moments. Hopefully they don't fuck up the ending where
Kuon loses it.
I liked Haku more than Hakuoro.
PS3 emulation is progressing pretty well. Steins;Gate 0 is already fully playable and even some 3D games. If Atlus announces it for localization later this summer, then everyone can play it probably next year
It was him wasn't it?
Because that would put her into danger.
Random hostages are good enough to use as leverage against the enemy, if the enemy knew she was a princess (and heir to the throne) they could very well use her as leverage to win the war at once.
It's so obvious. My mind is fucking blown.
Only characters we've seen to know the reason for the war is the emporer and whoever he sent as a messenger, emporer possibly told generals etc he is invading because he wants access to resting place but even then kuon might not of been told that.
Anime only viewers are going to come away from this thinking Haku is nothing, and has no ability
His knowledge and skills with a fan are worthy of mention however. He's no ordinary guy, he's a guy that can reinvent shit from the past with only sparse effort when cornered..
So is Haku as good as a tactician as Hakuoro or Raikou? I know in a straight up fight Hakuoro would win because he's Witsuarunemitea. Also is Woshisu a decoy of Haku because Mito thought he was dead?
He should be. The next game will probably be all him strategizing.
>Hakuoro would win because he's Witsuarunemitea
I actually doubt that. He doesnt have special fighting power in his form and he'll be weak if he hasnt granted a wish.
No, Kuon. You have to pick one. It can't be both.
Hakuro is about as powerful as any other godzilla physically
The only difference is that his godzilla power is wish granting, which makes him very dangerous in some situations, but isn't auto win. He needs to feed off desire and grant someone who willingly consents to it perhaps, to grow stronger.
Other godzillas have other powers, like barriers.
At this point it seems like it's only worth it to watch this for the great facial expressions.
I had high hopes and was optimistic going into this, but the second half has been disappointing to say the least.
I already dropped uta 2 before the war even started. The characters are horrible. If the third one is going to be about fighting Tsukuru then I probably won't even watch it at all.
I'm still going to watch it only because I want to see more of the Tsukuru characters. In Uta 1, most of the characters felt important and every single one has been a pillar of some sort to supporting Hakuoro. Heck, even Kamyu, to a lesser extent Yuzuha which I just discount her as a character they forgot to develop.
Uta 2's choice of characters felt so odd. The cast surrounding Haku don't feel important, even Oshutoru feels insignificant. The reveal of the emperor being the brother of Haku also didn't feel significant, and they keep giving so much emphasis to Vurai it feels so weird pacing wise. Uta 1 wasn't perfect, but it's entertaining at least.
Guy recreated humans ability to fly using machines in under an hour, he's basically Iron Man with a cave of scraps.
He knows a lot more about future tech and inventions than Harkuro as well, since he's a much later human.
>When i watched the preview of the anime
>Links the game OP
The third game already has a release date you dingdong. I'm fairly certain we're gonna get another mediocre anime that'll adapt it as well, like with Itsuwari no Kamen right now.
I've heard that the game will actually be translated at some point, it'll just be like four years or some shit. Can't remember who I read would be responsible, but I do vaguely remember seeing that the game is being planned to receive an English release.
