What anime have you had a good cry to /a/?
When the going merry appears at enies lobby and picks them up, and the episode after that. Couldn't control my tears but that was only because I marathoned the entire series up to that point and was really immersed.
Legend of Galactic Heroes
>A toast to democracy
>the magician who didn't return
>dream to see it to the end
although I cried during the final episode because of Felix and Alec holding hands
Steins;Gate (cried 3 times when Mayuri died and hyperventilated at the scene where they confessed their love but the timelines switched)
>when Ange received the letter after the Halloween party
JoJo Part 1 & 3
Ashita no Joe
Hunter X Hunter
>the scene where Gon has flashbacks of them fighting the chimera ants
Saikano Saikano Saikano Saikano. There. Thread end.
You're joking, right?
Didn't cry, but got a bit teary here.
Honestly never legitimately cried watching anime.
But ive felt miserable during the following
>Clannad and afterstory
>The last episode of Kino's Journey when she was reading the letter about
the entire town she just visited got fucking obliterated
Damn this anime makes you really attached to characters who you only see for one fucking episode.
You're probably kids. I bet you cried during the Pokemon movie, too.
Slice of life shows get me when they get serious
am i a fag for crying over picrelated
first few deaths?
>He didn't cry like all the Pokémons when Ash turned into stone
i cried at madoka ep 10 and 12 because i'm a fucking pussy
There were several moments for me. The other guy getting squashed. MC and the Emperor (and also his gf and his parents). The flyer girl (Nakiami, right?).
On a side note, is it me or was it basically
Eureka 7 but a tad bit more "mature"?
Gintama got me way more than things labelled as "sad" (Angel Beats, 5 centimeters per second)
No, you're just mentally ill.
>crying is escapism
Very mentally ill.
If not being mentally troubled is "normie" behavior to you, it is simply proof that you are in dire need of professional help.
Some things can evoke tears in a real man. Not anime.
Series that make you laugh tend to make yo more attached to the characters because they bring you laughter and happiness.
However, prepare thine anus in the coming weeks.
Pic related. Doubly so when you're looking up from below in the sequel.
No. I would have cried over her death but I did I watched that episode right before a party. Instead I got completely trashed and ranted drunk about how moeka was a heartless bitch the whole night.
>in a real man
anon, teach us your ways.
I guess someone shedding tears over the story of a soldier who bravely gave their life to save his comrades, but isn't in the same era is not manly either? If it's fiction, it shouldn't illicit a response?
I think you're just a try hard.
Good man. Next week can't come fast enough. hope he keeps the sword for the fight.
Only that episode with the father in Clannad After Story got me teary the rest wasn't that sad.
Umineko VN was pretty emotional once you understood what was going on.
When I was a kid I remember getting pretty sad at the Space Lion scene from Cowboy Bebop and the ending. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOn3gQv_FHM
The last episode of Ghost Slide
I didn't think anything like that could ever exist. The last battle was absolutely breathtaking, no words can describe it, it's unbelieveable, you just have to see it with your own eyes. The effects were out of this world, the animation was like nothing done ever before. The characters were like my own family, simple the best anime ever made, nothing will match it.
>There are people on this board right now who have not seen Saikano
Dude, that time when Sakuya finds out she is just an empty vessel for a shadow/reflection of Yugi and her image starts fading away from pictures and stuff. Also her last kiss with Tenchi shortly before dying. That shit fucked me up when I was eight or something
I haven't cried while watching anime in a long time I don't know whether it's my selection or I'm just becoming apathetic.Does anyone know something that will for sure cause you to cry?
