There was this Anime on TV around the year 2004/2005, so that probably means it was even older.
It was about some girl who survived the destruction of humanity(Some advanced city, was put into stasis by her father) thanks to some float/robot/hovercraft that I believe looked like a Swan.
She then meets some anthros from which one I believe was a lion.
Her main drive was trying to find other humans.

This has been haunting me since I was a child.
I remember watching Digimon on VHS, falling asleep and waking up in the middle of the night to find this shit on television. So it had to be on German TV in the early 2000s.
I remember 2 scenes.
One was a fight scene in some town. It was night. It was 2 guys and they probably fought with swords. One of them used a technique where everything would turn into a bloodyish purple (similar to pic related).
The other scene was in some kind of village. I think that some people summoned a demon or something and that someone died in a really bloody way.
It had this really dark atmosphere. Similar to Inuyasha, but I know Inuyasha at the time and I didn't recognize it so it has to be something else.
Probably wasn't 100% accurate but that's how I remember it.

Mine literally has whales. I remember it took place underwater, and the characters were whales. The MC meets a nice old blue whale who end up getting killed by either oil dumps, whalers, or a combination. Had some really eerie music and visuals; I think it was going the "fear of god" route with environmentalism. It may have been Western animation but I'm not sure.

I never watched Lupin the III but about 12 years ago i it watched it on german MTV late at night. Don't know if it was a normal episode, a movie or an OVA but i remember some scenes:

Trying to find an anime (or rather, the specific YouTube video of that anime's OP) for months. Kind of a longshot, but here goes:

I saw this youtube video of a tv size anime opening on an op/ed playlist once. The title was in japanese (except for maybe the word "OP"), there was nothing in the video description, and all the comments were in Japanese, which is probably why I've been having difficulty finding it. It could be it's one of those anime that has a much, much larger fanbase in Japan than the west. I remember the video itself was uploaded sometime between 2011-2013. It had around 300,000 views when I saw it a few months ago. The song was an uplifting Jrock song, I think? And judging from the character design, the anime was looked pretty recent. It appeared to be some sort of SOL high school romance. I remember the main characters at one point in the OP were in some house? I will be eternally grateful if someone can find this

I saw it there more than 10 years ago and until now I don't have any leads on what the show is. But judging from the art style it was probably either a 1970s or 1980s show. There was a scene in a manga like pic-related where a guy in a school uniform (Or a suit) who's hair looked kinda like Spike's (Cowboy bebop) or Kogami (psycho-pass)

Blue Uru.
Gainax has been teasing me with this for nearly 25 fucking years. They keep starting and stopping production and never fucking getting it done.
I guess the one thing that I've always wanted that Gainax DID release, was a digital set of over 800 images and sketches related to Blue Uru back in 1998, trying to generate hype to get the project back on track.
I've found a few mentions of it, but never any of the actual images from the collection.
