>Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima stated in an interview with GameSpot during the 2016 D.I.C.E. Summit event that he wants his new game to "have a big enough impact to become a series." According to Kojima, this impact could lead to "something outside of games, such as anime, manga, figures; something that is rich enough to expand."
Would you watch an anime by Kojima /a/?

The main reason the MGS plot is so fucked is due to the fact that he wrote each game like it would be the last. He had written himself into a corner, and it only go worse with each release.
He also has George Lucas syndrome. The best Metal Gear Solid games had him and Fukushima write together.
Kojima needs someone to kill his bad ideas and bounce stuff off.
This is funny to me because anime as a medium is usually very straightforward and everything this dude writes is a convoluted mess.
They should put him to write one of those 50-episodes gundam series.
The gameplay was drab. There were a few well designed compounds but most of them were just open areas with a building in the middle.
Game would've been much better if it only had a handful of compounds, but all of them were as complex and detailed as Camp Omega
It's pobably SH. Or something with Del Toro designs
Jesus Christ. You should be 18+ to post here
[Spoiler] MALE TO FEMALE
I found Meryl to be very cute in PS1 MGS1. Looking back now, I remember that her head texture was so pixelated and the head polygons so few, you could barely make her out to be a human.
I really liked how
you could make her blush by looking at her for too long, and you could actually see there to be a visual blush, and not just cute audio.
>Silent Hills was cancelled
>MGSV was unfinished
I'll never forgive Konami.
I get it, I love MGS too. That doesn't mean Kojima's writing doesn't have its flaws.
I love(d) MGS too, but you gotta admit the series was at it's best before Tomokazu got canned
>Kingo Kojima, a pharmacist, named his son based on the most common name among the doctors he met. He travelled a lot on business and watched a lot of movies, a trait he impressed on young Hideo. “I wasn’t allowed to go to bed till the film had finished: the opposite of how it is for most children”, Hideo recalls. Kingo was a keen fan of literature, a sculpter and artist, although his biggest regret was never joining the navy: the war ended when he was 15 and Kingo felt the moment had passed. “My father also made plastic models, like of warships and castles” recalls Kojima, “He’d say, ‘Watch me carefully, Hideo,’ and take a magic marker and paint the connecting pieces in the stone walls around the castle, then wipe them with paint thinner from the top. ‘You should always make these fine lines black like this,’ he’d say.”
>Hideo acquired his father’s eye for detail, but was only able to observe so much – Kingo died suddenly when Hideo was in middle school. “I was just 13 when he died,” he says. “It was hard and lonely but, in a way, it strengthened my resolve to become a filmmaker,” says Kojima. “I’ve been stuck with something of a father complex ever since. All the Metal Gear games so far have been paternal stories. They’re all about killing your father (laughs).”
>the biggest tragedy in Metal Gear is that it's a reflection of Hideo's tortured soul
>Hideo killed his dad with a can of aerosol and a lighter.
>playing video games makes you a kid
>watching anime makes you a kid
>even stronger social convention
Sounds like an edgy young adult trying the wrong way to be a man to me
Yeah, except with a story that isn't bland as shit and actually has the charm and character depth that gave the MGS series its fame and reputation. Also going to need more Ken, she was a fucking knockout. Perfect combination of cute and sexy.
