>nobody gets injured
What the fuck?
>have a kilometers scale aircraft carrier
>build mountains on it
The odds of a tournament tank round hitting someone in the head is extremely low, or else there would be rules for tank commanders to stay inside. Its for the same concern that no artillery or mortars are permitted.
Extremely low does not mean zero.
I honestly don't get why they allow commanders to keep their heads outdside the tank, especially when they also have MG's with live ammunition, and utilize them often. Ricochets can happen.
Who said they were using live ammo? It's "smart" ammo. It only explodes against non-living targets. It also actively misses living entities and on the off chance it hits, it just bounces off the person causing them some bruising.
>We will never have real senshado with custom built WWII tanks with sensors and dummy rounds
Thanks for being really boring, reality. Keep investing money into smartphone production and ISIS.
Really? Where and when, exactly? Because I'm pretty sure in all of the continuities they've said it's modified rounds designed specifically for competition, not live military rounds.
exactly what it looks liek, cute girls doing cute things
I don't get why they let people tackle in american football/rugby and shit
You can get killed doing that too
>Imagining the superbowl with flag football
I guess they're buttblasted that their irrelevant "AOTYEY" (that nobody but them actually remembers), from which they got their yaoi husbando, likely sold an average of 5 copies and has had not a thread since five seconds after last episode aired, while GuP is still packed of best girls and PANZER STRONG four years later.
Envy, Anon. Pure envy.
I for one completely support the idea of lowering safety regulations back to the pre-1970s.
With so many rules and whatnot, Grand Prix has become completely boring. Ironically, because of that my dad now watches NASCAR.
Not just anyone can get their hands on a F1 car, though. It's not exactly my field of expertise, but I'd imagine that you have to show your racing prowess using more commonplace cars first, on your own dime. Then you can get some sponsors for your actual racing-grade vehicles.
How exactly would this process proceed with tanks? As far as I know, they don't exactly hand fully functioning tanks out to civilians, and schools sure as shit aren't about to start doing what they do in the GuP universe, where even failing high schools have several tanks in a garage.
If it became an active sport, you'd probably see the development of much cheaper civilian tanks for use in sport that can be reasonably bought by a civilian team (low powered cannon that's intended to fire paint balls instead of shells, thin armor that's not really made to hold up in actual combat, top-mounted paintball rifle, normal radios, etc.), and it would become much more accessible with that, but I don't see how it would get off the ground to begin with. Maybe if people made a few of those civilian tanks to begin with and started setting up matches out in the middle of bumbfuck nowhere?
>boring ww2 shit tanks
Where are the leopards senpai
>yfw modern MBTs are so fucking good just one could wipe out hundreds of the WW2 cuckshit in this thread
>boring ww2 shit planes
>implying modern planes all look the same
Where are the flankers senpai
Uh no, because the largest amount of shells a MBT can carry is the Challenger 2 with 58 shells.
Now assuming the said Challenger 2 will also ram one tank, you'll need a minimum of 60 tanks to take on a Challenger 2.
>go get shot by a tank while wearing a short skirt
To be fair, if you're getting shot by a tank, whatever you're wearing is fucking irrelevant. With the MGs, you can probably have a rule to have them wear bullet-proof vests or something, but tank shells? If you got hit by one somehow, you're dead regardless of what you're wearing.
Besides, its fucking rare compared to getting MG'd even in real life. Unless the opponent is specifically aiming at the exposed TC, they most probably won't hit the TC.
>Unless the opponent is specifically aiming at the exposed TC, they most probably won't hit the TC.
This. Also remember the shells they're using are not war ammo: they're not shooting shrapnell-filled HE rounds around.
