>/a/ tells you an anime is great
>it's actually shit
Tell me her name.
Nothing. I like every anime I watch because I have good judgement when picking my next series.
Of course series i watched while they were airing don't count.
>Non Non Biyori
>Sora no Woto
What is this? A shit taste convention?
>spice and wolf
spice and wolf is the most uninteresting shit explosion I have ever laid eyes on
You want an ass whooping boy? Because thats how you get an ass whooping
Everybody seems to think it's the shit. Apparently it gets pretty crazy later on but it's just so damn slow I never get there.
Also, too much fog and cicada noises
wait a minute you fuck. You can hate fmp if you want. You can think S2 was even worse, that's fine. But if you actually think fumoffu is bad then you've got a stick so far up your ass it makes a mobius strip out of your colon. It is impossible to hate fun so much that you can't enjoy fumoffu. 40 starved children, a beaten to death dog and an aborted fetus would laugh at fumoffu.
You are some kind of soulless abysskin.
There is a moment about halfway through where the show completely changes, and becomes really engaging and super interesting really fast. But you never got to it. You were probably like one episode away. Fool.
Yeah, yeah, that's what I keep hearing. But like I said, I just haven't got there yet. I'm at about episode 7 right now, I think, I keep track in a spreadsheet but when it's been too long I just start again from the beginning. Was I close?
Closish. 12 onwards is the best part of the show, there isn't really a boring part after that. If you still remember everything that happened in the first part, go back man, it's really good.
Fuck off, I'm sick of people trying to police /a/ to fit their own shitty idea of the board.
Rec threads are bad when complete idiots come in having watched death note and ask what they should watch next. This isn't even a rec thread.
Well, it's based off a vn with different routes for each main female character, leading up to the main female character and the main plot.
But it's not a harem show. It doesn't fit any of the tropes you would expect, the only thing haremy is the cast, and since the girls aren't really attracted to Okabe at all I think it's fine.
>boku no pico
I will fucking murder you
It's pseudo-harem, though it doesn't really matter how well it fits the genre because harem doesn't automatically equal bad. It's just that the basic harem set up (multiple girls with one main guy) cause anons to think with their dicks and overrate a mediocre series.
PSG was fucking awful. Such a waste of time.
and all the other baiters itt:
If you want to make it a good bait, you have to back it up with reasons. It's obvious bait if you just post the names of popular shows, but if you can back that up with legitimate criticism then you post becomes believable.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka
YURU YURI S3
/a/ oversold the economics thing so bad. I was actually interested to watch spice and wolf and there was literally nothing interesting about economics in it. I can't believe I got memed by what was essentially a couple background details. Fucking anons acting like it was dense material as always. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha had way more interesting economics. idk about the anime specifically though.
Kuroko no basket
Full Metal panic
The first Golgo 13 movie
Spice and Wolf
Clannad After story
Man, just about every Anime you fags like sucks. I'll just stick to good shit like attack on titan and classics like dragon ball z.
I can't think of a single anime that actually fits OP's criteria. Any anime that /a/ thinks is "great" will at least be average, or at worst slightly below average. And if it's not, there won't be any semblance of consensus of "greatness."
The closest I could think of would be shows that had a huge following on /a/ and created a lot of hype here, but that the love they got was disproportionate to their actual quality. In that regard I'd say Space Dandy, Kill la Kill, Samurai Flamenco, Symphogear and Yuuki Yuuna all qualify. But none of these are "shit," they are all entertaining in their own way.
>implying having a casual anime to watch is bad.
It's not Naruto/Bleach tier bad, it's not Gundam good.
It was better than the original FMA, that's all we can really ask a studio to do is progress.
>/a/ doesn't like anime.
Nice one anon. But that /v/ meme doesn't necessarily apply to other boards.
/a/ likes anime more than pretty much anyone else.
perhaps you should just read the whole thing
I'd post the pdf but it's 40mb
Haruhi was the series that confirmed to me that /a/ never talks about good anime. Throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the wall and seeing what sticks is not good writing.
You go down the season charts, strike out the ones that get threads all the time and the kiddy shows, and you're left with the cream and the real crap -- it should be easy enough to tell the difference.
Not true. Even the lesser known good series will occasionally be talked about on /a/. Using your method you discount good shows and get left with crap.
What's good this season that /a/ isn't talking about?
