>Tfw it seemed like it was about to get really interesting
>editor teased that one of the most shocking events in the series was about to happen
>all of that neat Dark Continent info
>possible bloodbath in the Whale Ship
I don't read this, but I thought about getting into HxH a few times, but looking at that chart - should I just forget about it and spare me the pain of never getting any new chapters? It looks like it will never get finished and togashi might just axe it completely soon.
>using Microsoft's file systems
He just *said* it's not a defrag screen.
No, he didn't. YYH never had a break during its run. Althought Togashi was always complaining about the infamous mangaka schedule, and, after the ending, he published a letter explaining how the work basically ruined his health and his artistic integrity.
I don't like the frequent hiatuses and I would love the return of HxH just as much as the next guy, but I would be lying if I said I don't understand Togashi.
Pretty sure Togashi just did this to fuck Shueisha in the ass again, he could've easily made bank by cranking out one more chapter. It's how you know he's not in it for the money.
I care, you dick.
>caring about Hunter Hunter
Nothing about this world is interesting, none of the characters or plot can keep you hooked looking for more. Sure, I like togashi's writing but honestly it doesn't matter to me if he writes hxh or some other shit.
Gon had a satisfying arc that has a good finish to it. Gon's dad was interesting but we don't know anything about Ging grandpa to care about him. Nen is honestly one of the shittiest power systems and I think togashi would implement his next system much better than this one.
Not to mention our sense of power scale had been completely shattered by CA arc. The world of hunter hunter which was full of dangerous foes in the background like hisoka, illumi and chrollo doesn't feel dangerous anymore.
There is nothing about Hunter hunter that is worth keeping. Togashi can just start a new manga and hell, maybe because its fresh he will write more often.
>Nen is honestly one of the shittiest power systems
>power scale had been completely shattered by CA arc
>hisoka, illumi and chrollo doesn't feel dangerous anymore
You don't have to pretend you read the series anon, you can just shitpost about it like anyone else.
Every time there's a Hunter X Hunter thread, I can't help but feel most of the anger/resentment stems from lack of food, i.e a new chapter, and because they're so invested/fucking engrossed it causes these symptoms of starvation to manifest worse than most manga with a two week delay.
It's okay to admit you're hungry.
How mad would you be if Togashi published one chapter to avoid his longest streak before returning to hiatus?
Don't make me sad, anon. I caught up to 349 a couple of days ago. What are the six offers? Netero makes me so fucking happy.
This fucker was looking pretty interesting. What a shame.
Bookstores sold collections of HxH along with collections of other unfinished series, and some dumbass western website jumped on it for clicks by claiming they meant it was cancelled.
Source: actually going to Book Off and checking the shelves.
I would love a full arc dedicated to a boat bloodbath if Togashi actually came back to work on a semi-regular basis. Realistically, if he does come back, I expect it to be a few chapters with some big events and then a time skip to the arrival.
>Not to mention our sense of power scale had been completely shattered by CA arc
>Meruem and the RG are literally dead
You've got a pretty liberal definition of "shattered" there, anon.
It was never about money for him. His wife brings in that sweet sweet Sailor Moon dosh.
He literally doesn't have to do shit again. Although everyone who reads HxH would like him to.
More like, buying a pc and replacing it with a Mac so you can do video editing, then going back to the pc once the Mac has fulfilled it's purpose. Only a dumbass shounenbabby would rely on continuing escalation of powerlevels for their enjoyment of a series, especially when they were barely relevant begin with. The guards and Meruem only had such huge power to properly convey the message of the arc.
>mfw some people actually believe he'll be back soon
I like Pariston.
>Only a dumbass shounenbabby would rely on continuing escalation of powerlevels for their enjoyment
It is not about the power it is about the fear factor. After the insanity of the CA and length of the CA arc most people just don't view hisoka and chrollo as the big threats looming in the background like they use to be.
Your extremely shit analogy is more of an excuse than anything. What you don't understand is that seeing Gon and Killua struggle through the CA arc would just make it extremely frustrating if we see them get fucked by even less intimidating targets.
I'm tempted to call you an '11 baby because you don't seem to understand just how huge CA arc was especially if you were waiting on togashi. The ants completely overshadow everything behind it.
Even togashi himself knows this which is why he created the Dark Continent as an entity ten times more terrorizing than the ants.
You might be defensive because you think I'm calling the CA arc shit, which I'm not. I'm just saying that he should make a new series. He already cast aside the main character and completed his character arc anyway.
All you're doing is making more excuses as to why you can't enjoy something unless the most current arc has the most powerful characters. Hisoka and the troupe are still objectively and factually huge threats as well as intriguing characters.
Why doesn't anyone talk about Ging fingering Paristion's asshole as #2?
He at the least had the excuse of assisting the character designs and script for the movie, though. He was preoccupied with that, and being a consultant for the 2011 anime, as well.
Now he has nothing but free time. I don't want to admit it, but it seems more and more as the weeks and months pass by that he has no desire to continue HxH.
The art "lately" looks pretty great though.
Can't wait until this fucker gets impaled by Ging or judged by Kurapika.
