say what you want, this was the best couple and how it should have ended
I don't know, Rikka seems one step bellow Satone
she is so best it hurts
Yeah maybe you're right, she's pretty amazing
I hate Shichimiya's existence and everyone involved in creating her.
Don't get me wrong, I love her. But creating such a cute and sweet girl just for the purpose of breaking her heart repeatedly, what kind of fucking sadism is that?
She is so fucking best. I love her.
Even before the anime since I read the novel.
it would have been cool if the story was about 2 former chuunis broing it up and helping each other cover their chuuni pasts, yet they keep getting coerced into chuuni activities by their friends and in the end learning that there's no point in denying your past and falling in love
You're right. That would have made for an infinitely more entertaining story. Mind you, I loved the one they went with, but yours is vastly superior.
The second season was fucking shite, but damn, if Satone's interactions with Yuuta didn't make me suffer more. At first, some anons were going with the NTR shit with Rikka or how hard was she gonna lose to her, fuck this show, Chu2Ren was horrible.
Rikka is pretty much retarded and will never be able to take care of herself. Yuuta deserves Rikka. He is the only person who is dumb enough to subject themselves to that kind of eternal servitude.
Rikka nabbed him first and Yuuta was committed to his relationship with the girl he chose. Shichimya was too real for everyone I think; too real in the sense that I think everyone got a taste of what its like to lose in love. It was portrayed pretty well.
Everyone was mad he wasnt an indecisive pussy? You disappoint me /a/.
The trip is new, young man.
Also I'm not so sure if he' sjoking.
On the spectrum of what Rikka and Shichimiya did to deserve Yuuta, Shichimya outshines Rikka by a lot. On Yuuta's side, he's a great boy with a heart of gold and all Rikka did was be a baby.
That episode where they have a sleepover and play Wii you see Yuuta actually having fun, laughing and relaxing. I can't recall one scene in which he wasn't being dragged into something while stressing out with Rikka. Have they ever had non-chuuni regular human fun together?
>irrelevant shit character with chuuni attitude
Rikka worked hard for many years trying to get close to Yuuta and succeeded.
>Shichimiya did to deserve Yuuta
You mean crying in the rain? Oh my god ;_; she sure deserves him now. Fuck off.
I like how you just referred to me as a newfriend even after seeing the post calling me Smoked Cheese.
Oh, the irony.
Shichimiya knew Yuuta for way longer and worked incredibly hard to suppress her romantic feelings JUST so they could remain friends. She arguably worked WAY harder than Rikka.
Young man, she realized her feelings for her long before high school started. And even after their reunion, she still tried to preserve their friendship by suppressing her feelings.
You're referring to the results while I'm talking about who deserves what.
Rikka doesn't deserve Yuuta. Shichimya does.
>On Yuuta's side, he's a great boy with a heart of gold
You seem awfully defensive with your opinion, did I offend you somehow?
Rikka doesn't deserve Yuuta, young man.
Don't you violently harass your friends???
I'm watching from the sidelines but you're talking to someone else, not the attention whore that you just filtered. The tripshit
I'm going to point this out and leave because you're embarrassing yourself. The tripshit is talking to someone else in the thread.
That's definitely not true. Yuuta has no romantic feeling for Rikka at all at the beginning of the season and kind of sees her as a nuisance. That is not true at all by the end.
>No such thing as "deserving" someone. Go cry in the corner.
It's true that people don't get with people because they deserve it, aye, but this is a chinese cartoon. This is my little ant farm and I'm Jimmy destroyer of worlds and if I see some little shit ant thinking she can get away with eating more than the rest I'm gonna call her out on it. I'm gonna shake up that farm, shake it and teach that fucker a lesson, shake it shake it, shake it shake it like a polaroid picture.
That's not the impression I got. You saw how Rikka's chuuni hurt her relationships with her family. Rather, I thought it was about finding a balance between functioning in the real world and still having fun on your own time.
It was honestly the worst writing to introduce a girl only to basically shit on her slap her in the face and dump her in the garbage.
This is only one of the problems which plagued Kyoani's worst show to date.
She will find her happiness someday. Shes awesome and will find someone awesome to go with her. Yuuta won't know what he lost until he look back on this years later when his relationship with Rikka turns to shit.
I don't understand what the point was of S1's ending, if there was one at all. She was acting chuuni to escape from the reality of her dad dying. So how does her concluding it's OK to be chuuni resolve anything? If she accepted her family situation then why does being chuuni matter anymore? I have a theory that the show was actually a complete trainwreck but everybody forgot because it was somewhat funny and had moeblobs.
The ending means that its ok to use your own way to deal with things in life that are hard to deal with. Everyone is a bit delusional and that is ok because if everyone was completely logical, they wouldn't be able to be humans with emotions.
