Would you share an umbrella with Haruhi?
No, but I would do so with a better girl.
Haruhi has a tendency of giving people funny feelings like that
Cause then the tease would be over, and there'd be no reason to by the next book.
What's the best episode of Hauhi and why is it pic related?
Too bad its been stuck in neutral for a decade.
Maybe it's because I've become old and jaded after watching so much anime, but I thought that episode was one of the best endings. I kind of don't want to watch S2 and ruin my appreciation of it.
No they are shit. They leave a feeling of unresolved longing. It's what made the ending of Hyouka so terrible. Because at the current course that things are going, nothing is going to happen and the romance falls apart.
An unresolved romance is worse than a badly resolved romance because it shows a complete failure on the part of the writer.
I'm on The Suprise right now, just finished Part 1, and I really want to like it, but it's hard. Just when I'm getting into a timeline it shifts over to the other one I'm less interested in, then I get confused and by the time I'm back to enjoying it and understanding what's going on it shifts again.
I found it
I shall dump some for the purpose of comfy reading.
>I found a girl with long, straight black hair decorated with a flashy hair band adorning her perfectly proportioned face as she stared back at the gawking students with unusually large, black, determined eyes adorned with long, fringed eyelashes, her soft pink lips tightly pursed.
>I was dazzled by Haruhi’s snow-white skin. A striking beauty stood before me. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter one.
>The next day, she would walk in with a ponytail, looking flawless from every angle. The way it looks so perfect on her is almost more than I can bear. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter one. (Not in the anime)
>But damn, she was hot… I mean, let’s move on. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter one.
>When I turned around in rage and indignation, I found Haruhi standing and grabbing my collar with—for the first time ever—a smile reminiscent of a blazing sun in an equatorial sky. If you could take the temperature of a smile, hers would have matched the climate in the middle of a rain forest. [...] Haruhi looked at me with her eyes shining as brightly as Alpha Cygni. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter one.
>“This room is now our club room!” Haruhi proclaimed in a dignified fashion, throwing her arms into the air. Her face was painted with a divine smile. I decided not to voice my opinion that seeing such a smile on her face in the classroom every day would be a good thing. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter two.
>“Be sure to meet in this room after school from now on. You had better show up! If you don’t, heads will roll.”
She said this with a smile like cherry blossoms in full bloom. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter two.
>Don’t talk about Haruhi like she’s some kind of rare insect. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter five. (Not in the anime)
>Why does everyone like Haruhi so much? She’s an eccentric, bossy, self-centered girl who causes trouble for everyone around her. How does she warrant the attention of some grandiose organization? I do have to admit she’s easy on the eyes, though. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter five. (Not in the anime)
>Stuck in a world all alone with a girl I know and I end up kissing her. Freud would have a field day with this. Did I really have a dream that’s such an easy read?
>Gah, I want to hang myself this very second!
>I should probably be grateful that Japan eliminated the right to bear arms. If an automatic handgun had been within my reach, I would have popped myself in the head without hesitation. If it had been Asahina, I could have picked at my honest desires within the dream. But it was Haruhi, of all people. What the hell was my subconscious thinking about?
>I sat wearily on my bed and threw my arms over my head. If it was a dream, it was the most realistic one I’d ever had. My right hand was covered in sweat and I could still feel a warm sensation on my lips. – The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter seven.
This is too tiring. If someone else wants to dump that'd be nice.
Here's a nice quote from Random Numbers though.
>Haruhi put one hand on my shoulder, its power causing a slight change in my lower region. – Random Numbers.
>tfw it's episode 6 of the S2 order
I swear I have seen an order somebody made that fits all the S2 episodes to work in the Haruhi order, but I cannot find it and I am so upset.
