Meh, weak ending. The beginning of it was damn good though, sad that best girl didn't win and barely had any screentime in the end.
What did /a/ think of it?
Oyasumi punpun ending is as meh as this. Good thing for him that punpun is an adult, making an adult ending is easier. Kasuga is still a kid, not many things you can pull without going too edgy.
the manga is pretty good,it is a wild ride about self discovery, problem is it is still ongoing and it is going to take a while to finish it since he is doing 2 mangas at the same time
I thought the ending was fair, and the only good outcome for these characters. Nakamura was never a best girl for me, not even close, but I'm glad she probably got to have a normal life in the end, too.
Tokiwa was a miracle of the universe. I see a lot of complaints because of the second part of the manga being very different from the first but both were great. Kasuga had to grow up and it was interesting to see how he become a good guy with Tokiwa. But yeah the whole "this village is hell on earth" business was the best thing in AnH so i understand why people liked the first part.
It's a coming of age story. After the MC comes to term with his past there's no way he could have gone back to Nakamura.
Punpun's ending is very different: Aku no Hana ends on a positive note: Kasuga is finally able to move on and has accepted his past.
In Punpun there's no resolution: he is as broken as before, his friends are literally forcing him to move on, but Punpun himself states he just wants to disappear from everyone's memories
