Space Bros was good though, and its the XY writer doing it - and they're fairly competent.

The Umineko anime collapsed 14-hour long VN chapters into 4-6 episodes each time.

In the AA games about half of the time is spent investigating shit where barely any story happens, meaning the anime can focus on the court cases, the parts that actually matter, with the investigation scenes being only the parts that involve only the vital clues and character traits being discovered.

A-1 is only good at weepy teen Melodrama of the MAL/noitaminA sort and in theory but not really Fantasy MMORPG anime, which they more just seem obsessed with doing and J.C Staff is even possibly better at. Everything else they try seems to pretty much crash and burn.
